Reenavaude Reviews

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Haus an sehr guter Lage. Bad und Küche könnten dringend eine sanfte Renovation gebrauchen. Aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Sehr zu empfehlen. (A very nice and cozy house in a great location. The bathroom and kitchen could desperately use a gentle renovation. But the price-performance ratio is good. Highly recommended.)

The owner Maureen couldnâ??t have been more friendly and welcoming. The cottage has amazing views and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would recommend this cottage.

We had the most amazing week at Reenavaude. The house is so peaceful and tranquil. It has a spectacular setting on the edge of Ardgroom Bay with a view of the mountains. The view can be seen from the moment you arrive and we spent a long time each day watching the changing light on the sea and mountainside. The house itself was spacious, airy and comfortable with many places to sit and relax both indoors and out. In addition, Maureen looked after us very well without being intrusive. The area is a great location for watching wildlife and for exploring the Ring of Beara, and maybe even the Ring of Kerry. We found no shortage of things to do and would really love to return one day.

We had a lovely week, location is great, right on the water. Outside deck for coffee, drinks and bbq helped by amazing weather. Very comfortable and easy to access the peninsula. Cycling was enjoyed around the peninsula as was a swim at the bottom of the garden. It is a good 30 min walk to local pub in Ardgroom which had good Guinness and a roaring fire. Lovely walks from the house too. Kitchen well equipped, would definitely recommend.

We know now about this rental and overall there isn't much to say. We like simple and functional things. We cooked a lot and had no difficulty with the equipment.

We remained one week and we had a lovely time in Maureen's house. It's a very comfortable house with big rooms ans and excellent beds, the kitchen is nice, everything to do cooking. Showers are great and the scenery is really marvellous.
Simon
The cottage has amazing views and beautiful location and very clean and well equipped and like home from home.

The views from the property across Ardgroom Bay to the Caha Mountains are stunning! The property is spacious with all the mod cons but it also has a lot of character which makes it a welcoming and comfortable space which you can settle into very quickly. The garden is large and perfect for active kids. Our boys loved venturing with us to the small inlet at the bottom of the garden to look for crabs and shrimp. There's so much to see in the local area and the property is very conveniently located to visit many locations without a long drive. We would love to return at some point.
