Breidden View At Millstone Cottages Reviews

Although our stay was enjoyable there were a few issues we had to raise during our time at the cottage. The PH levels on the hot tub were way out which caused our skin to become itching and sore, when raised with the owner he didnt really know how to resolve the issue, it was a good job one of our friends had a hot tub at home and helped to lower the levels. There were cobwebs in every room and the kitchen lounge floor was dirty. The throws on the sofa in the lounge are dirty and bobbly and in my opinion need to be replaced, safe to say I didnt sit in the sofa during our stay. If the above issues are resolved I would happily stay here again, the owners are very welcoming and we met a few of the locals at the on site bar. The surroundings are beautiful and it is so peaceful.

First impressions were, 'i didn't realise there was a solar field as part of the view' Once you get over the surprise it is ok but would be good if that was mentioned as i probably would have picked somewhere else. The fridge and microwave were dirty so needed cleaning. The skirting boards were dirty and when I had a shower the water took a while to drain away so when I lifted the silver cover up the plug was covered in hair. The place appeared to be in need of a good deep clean. We all decided a 6 was a fair mark for cleanliness.
The cottage is lovely, quiet, perfect chill with the girls . . could do with more outside seating as there were 6 of us but seating for 4 the sofa is needing a deep clean. No cleaning materials supplied, so take your own washing up liquid, dishcloth, petrol wipes etc .. Owners are lovely and helpful. The bonus is the huge hottub and the views are amazing

Lovely properly with lots to do nearby, host was very welcoming and extremely pleasant which made the stay even more enjoyable. The kids made full use of the hot tub and we even managed a relaxing evening in it. Would recommend this place for a relaxing week away, just mind your head if your over 6ft like my eldest

We were a party of 7 who had a weekend of bliss and spent our time BBqing and in the jacuzzi. Beautiful views and gorgeous cottage. We even got a welcome shot! We would recommend this place to everyone.
