For those feeling less energetic, a stroll across the beach to iconic Burgh Island, inspiring some of Agatha Christie’s tales, will blow away the cobwebs! The nearby golf course will challenge all abilities when the sea breeze blows. The nearby towns of Modbury, Kingsbridge and Salcombe are full of fascinating little independent stores, art galleries and restaurants.
