Slip onto the sofa and make yourself at home before going to the chic, country-style kitchen to whip up some dinner. Host a sociable meal in the stylish dining room, or if you want to dine alfresco, head out into the pretty tiered garden. After dinner, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the stars come out, or stretch out on a sofa in the living area in front of your favourite movie. When it’s time for bed, head up the steep stairs to the first floor, where you’ll discover two spacious and stylish bedrooms. Pull on your hiking boots and head to Northam Burrows Country Park (2.5 miles) to trek along the sand dunes and relax on the beach. Alternatively, take a leisurely stroll to Appledore Quay (0.5miles) to take in the scenic views of the estuary and watch the graceful dance of colourful fishing boats bobbing on the water.
