A Lovely cottage in the heart of beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed every moment of this peaceful home and area , which had everything we needed .If you like remote then this is for you . Walks from the doorstep and cycle tracks . Would love to return ; thank you for a great stay .
Claire
2nd visit and we hope to return next year. House was warm and comfortable to return to after a long day out. Love the underfloor heating and so did our dogs. Lovely walks from the house. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

We love Wales as a holiday destination and have visited Pembrokeshire and Snowdonia many times this cottage was by far the best we have stayed in. The quality of finish etc is 5 star in my opinion and the owners should be proud of what they have achieved in this cottage, the crowning glory is it's location nestled in the forest, secluded with views to die for of the mountains, open the door and your straight onto miles of woodland walks etc, perfect for us and our labradors. We will definitely be booking again for next year.
Steve
What a beautiful house in a beautiful secluded and tranquil setting. Even a bath with a view! Walks through forest and to waterfalls from the door. Snowdonia's peaks, lakes, rivers, beaches and towns within a short drive. Wonderful.
Clare
A fabulous stone cottage in the middle of the woods. Perfect getaway from city life. Lovely walks, mountain bike trails and picturesque views on your doorstep. Would highly recommend this property. We had an amazing time.
Michael
We loved the location for exploring Snowdonia and lots of walks / waterfalls nearby. Very well equipped. Enjoyed the local town Dolgellau with lots of restaurants and a pint in the Cross Keys. Good to get away from everything in rural North Wales.
Claire
Fabulous cottage, clean, spacious and lovely and warm. Tiled floor throughout the ground floor meant it was easy with our dogs. Brilliant location for those who enjoy walking, amazing waterfalls just 10 mins walk from the house.
Keith
Amazing location and property. Had a lovely time and John and Mae are absolutely great too. Would highly recommend

This was such a comfortable cottage to stay in. The views were stunning and being able to hear the waterfall only 5 mins walk away added to the tranquilty. Located in a dark skies region allowed us to see a vast array of star formations. We were lucky enough to be there during a meteor shower so we saw so many shooting stars too! The cottage is only afew minutes from a forest where you could hire mountain bikes, 30 minutes from the sea and 25 minutes from Cadair Idris mountain. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful during our stay.
Sarah
Beautiful cottage, everything so well thought out and welcoming. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Its the most idyllic spot you could wish to visit. Walking, cycling - all from your door step and when you've finished your activities the cottage is cosy and so very comfortable. Also lots of activities such as ZipWorld for wet days plus other lovely places to visit. We will definitely be back to stay. We didn't want to leave! If you enjoy the outdoors, being away from civilisation, fresh air and beautiful mountain views, don't hesitate - just book! One of the best holidays we have had. (Family of 4 plus small dog)
Anthony
Two families consisting four adults, two eleven year olds and three dogs. This was a fabulous cottage with everything you could wish for. The place was spotlessly clean and very warm. The owners met us at the main road and took us to our cottage. This was very helpful as it is in a remote position. Lots of walks and in a very good position to explore the local area. We all enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again. Make sure you take all your food and drink. No corner shops around here.
