After thrilling days exploring natural wonders and cultural landmarks, you’ll love returning here to rest and recharge in the light-filled conservatory and soak up those views. Arranged over two storeys, this dormer bungalow is warm and welcoming, offering the perfect home from home for up to eight guests. The ground floor has several different living areas, so guests can spread out or gather together as they wish. Sink into plush sofas in the lounge to relax after a walk or catch up with your favourite TV series, or retire to the conservatory with your current read and your binoculars so you can watch for wildlife. The kitchen is well equipped for whipping up hearty breakfasts, picnic lunches and delicious dinners, and features a breakfast table for casual meals. There’s a larger dining table in the conservatory, along with garden furniture on the terrace. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to find three spacious and comfortable bedrooms, two rooms with a double and single bed in each, and a third with children’s bunk beds. Three bathrooms, a separate WC and a utility room take care of all practicalities. The historic town of Castletownbere (4.5 miles) has a great variety of shops, eateries and lively bars, and is home to one of Ireland’s most impressive natural harbours. From here you can catch the ferry to beautiful Bere Island, which is a haven for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers. The region also boasts a number of historic and archaeological sites, including Derreenataggart Stone Circle (5.5 miles). Need to know - 3 bedrooms - 2 doubles with additional single beds in both, 1 bunk bedroom - 3 bathrooms - 1 shower room with WC, 2 en-suite shower rooms with WCs, 1 ground floor WC - Oven and electric hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer - TV, DVD, CD player, radio - Oil-fired central heating - Private parking - Small patio and lawned area with seating - Pub and shop 4 miles, beach 7 miles - Linen included. Towels provided as an extra. - €100 breakages deposit payable to the owner/caretaker on arrival
