The property sits on the outskirts of Northleach, a cheerful market town known for its historic honey-coloured stone buildings, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surrounding countryside. Once a bustling wool town, Northleach is home to a traditional market place and the beautiful Church of St Peter and St Paul. The town is home to a great range of eateries, and you’ve got access to plenty of walking routes from the door. Cheltenham lies 16 miles away, home of Montpellier Gardens, the Holst Victorian House and Cheltenham Racecourse. Other local attractions include the site of the Chedworth Roman Villa, Sudeley Castle, Kelmscott Manor, St Kenelm’s Well and the beautiful Lodge Park and Sherborne Park Estate, all within 17 miles. The porch area of this elegant retreat has space for leaving coats and boots before you head through to the large hallway. The welcoming lounge is to your left and features a Smart TV, wood burner-effect gas fire and plush seating. The ground floor also hosts a stylishly presented dining room with a table that can extend to 10 guests and an airy, fully equipped country-style kitchen with a cheery breakfast table that can extend to 8 guests . Heading upstairs, the first floor features a refreshing bathroom and the first two bedrooms, both decorated in fresh, tasteful shades: a delightful double and a lovely king-size room with has a soothing en-suite shower room. Up on the second floor is a shower room and two more bedrooms, a snug double and a pretty king-size room, both with skylights set in low sloping ceilings and blackout blinds. From the lounge, glass sliding doors lead out into the generous and enclosed split-level garden. Surrounded by beech trees, the garden features a lovely lawn with a central patio area with ample furniture perfect for dining alfresco and taking in the surrounding countryside. Private parking is available for two cars, with further parking along the street.
