Park the car and enter this intriguing historic cottage with all your creature comforts and interesting features throughout. As you walk into the property, straight ahead is the creatively designed kitchen, with original gaol bars at the feature window, and equipped with all you need to rustle up a meal with local produce purchased on your travels. When the meal is ready, the dining table, nestling amongst features of the former gaol, is perfectly positioned by the door which you can open to listen to the birdsong and babbling river whilst enjoying your food and planning your holiday activities. After a full day out, relax on the sofa and chairs for cosy nights in watching your favourites on theSmart TV, playing board games or losing yourself in a book. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs and choose from two bedrooms, the double with riverside views and the twin, both designed for a good night’s sleep. Start the day with a leisurely bath or shower before you go out exploring.Outside, there is the enclosed paved patio with steps down to seating to embrace the river views, listen to the wildlife and the babbling River Severn. It’s a lovely spot for morning coffee by the river or dining on the paved patio with a charcoal BBQ and furniture. There is a public playground with swings and frames next to the property.
