The outside garden is delightful and boasts a large lawned garden with garden furniture to the front of the property and a partially enclosed garden to the rear with a table, chairs, and BBQ. Norwich (5.5 miles), with its culture, castle, theatre, cafes, and shopping opportunities, is a must-see attraction. For a traditional day at the seaside, there are several towns and beaches within twenty miles, including Great Yarmouth and, for something a little quieter, Sea Palling. To discover the Norfolk Broads, head to Wroxham (5.5 miles) and take a boat trip along the waterways of this unique natural environment, or if you are feeling adventurous, hire your own boat and keep a look out for the local birdlife and wildlife on offer.

The Firs Reviews

Beverley
The Firs had everything we needed for a family reunion and a party in Norwich. Excellent location, easy access to the City and the coast or Broads. A spacious, clean and well equipped holiday let. Would highly recommend The Lodge at Salhouse and Jasonâ??s fish and chips in Rackheath.
Richard
The property was quirky, comfortable, spacious, well equipped, clean and generally well presented although the untidy state of the gardens created an unloved vibe. The situation of the second shower room (as far as possible from the bedrooms) is a major inconvenience. The kitchen equipment was modern and good quality although quite complicated to operate and required much study of the manufacturers instruction manuals provided. Despite it's good points
Leslie
What a great place to stay quiet location but with easy reach of everything house has everything you need everyone in the party had a great time
Zoe
The cottage is really well placed for exploring Norfolk with Norwich 15 minutes away and lots of other attractions on your doorstep - Wroxham, Bewilderwood, Blickling, private swimming pools and more. Itâ??s a very clean and very well equipped cottage, we didnâ??t miss anything which meant it was very easy to cook while we were away. Itâ??s very spacious and comfortable too. It has a Nespresso coffee machine that takes Vertuo pods which canâ??t be bought in supermarkets, so just remember to buy some beforehand if you want to use the machine. That said there is also a cafetière so plenty of options!
Kelly
