Take a day trip to Lynton and Lynmouth (9 miles), where you can visit the Valley of Rocks with views across the Bristol Channel and take the funicular cliff railway between the twin towns. Combe Martin is a pretty seaside town only (5 miles) where you can enjoy taking out kayaks around the stunning coastline or just enjoy having fun in the rockpools. Other places to visit include Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle family theme park. Or have a go at coasteering in Watermouth Bay (6 miles). Step inside this pretty, open-plan holiday lodge from the decking. Its sociable layout is great for when you want to enjoy a movie on the Smart TV while relaxing on the sofas. You’ll find a lovely designer kitchen to whip up a favourite recipe and enjoy dining in this space. There are two bedrooms: one king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a twin room with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a free-standing bath. Outside is a large decked balcony which has comfortable outdoor seating, a table and chairs to dine alfresco after cooking a meal on the stone-built BBQ, and a luxury hot tub. There is also a bar and restaurant on site.
