A subtle coastal vibe flows throughout this handsome holiday home, creating a wonderful base for a break with friends or family. Located within Porthcurno Valley, the bungalow is backed by countryside. Leave your vehicles on the driveway and enjoy at your leisure the iconic Minack Theatre – where performers entertain beneath the stars and subtropical gardens thrive – and, below, a stunning beach where fine white sands are lapped by azure water. Learn more about this and how the village later once played a vital role in the telecommunications industry at the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum. The South West Coast Path connects the village to other important landmarks including Land’s End to the west, Mousehole and then Penzance to the east.

About The Beach House Porthcurno

Passenger ferries depart from Penzance for the Isles of Scilly – close enough for a day-trip – or vibrant St Ives, on Cornwall’s Atlantic coastline, is a 17-mile drive. This striking bungalow is detached and stylishly set up for a party of eight – plus up to three pets – with a light and airy ambiance that echoes its surrounds. Sure to be the social hub of your holiday, the spacious kitchen has all the must-haves of home, is complemented by a utility room, and incorporates a contemporary dining space area. When you’re ready to unwind, there’s a choice of rooms in which to spend time together or apart. Stretch out by the wood burner in the lounge to enjoy a film on the Smart TV, relax in the sunroom while the dogs snooze at your feet, or hide-out in the games room – accessed by a steep staircase from the utility area, it has a Smart TV and an XBox for added entertainment. As bedtime arrives, four individually styled bedrooms offer the flexibility to suit any party make-up: two king-size rooms – one of which has an en-suite shower room – plus a twin room and a bunk room. A family bathroom and separate shower room offer comfort and convenience for all. Just as impressive as the property’s interiors, the outside space starts with a multi-surface driveway to the front with space to park a couple of cars. Behind the bungalow, a large and beautifully finished decked terrace is enclosed and comes complete with furniture for dining and lounging – perfect for al fresco meals and naps in the sunshine. Steps and a small bridge lead down to a wild garden that’s also enclosed and truly magical, with mature planting, a stream, and farmland beyond. Ensuring attention to every detail, there’s a secure storage area for bikes and surfboards, plus a dedicated EV charging point.

The Beach House Porthcurno Reviews

Marianne
We had a very comfortable stay, 5 adults & 3 dogs! Well equipped & modern bungalow. Short walk to beach and coastal path. We even walked to the pub, via the coastal path!
Lee-anne
Lovely bungalow near Porthcurno beach and the Minack theatre. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Ideal for families.
Lynne
We had a lovely holiday - thank you very much. The house is comfortable and very well equipped with good quality kitchen implements and linen. The games room is a great bonus for those with children and there are lovely games and equipment for children of all ages. The road outside to the beach is narrow and busy with no pavement for part of the walk to the beach - the parking outside the house is sloping and quite difficult - these are the only reasons I would mention to anyone intending to stay in the house ...... except ...... this is almost the only property in over 20 years of renting cottages where there was no welcome pack, insufficient toilet rolls and only 3 dishwasher tabs for the week . This felt very mean when we have paid the high season price [which we expect at peak season]. Just to say again - we had a lovely holiday - thank you.
Caroline
Cottage was perfectâ?¦. Fab location for quick beach trips and spacious. Kitchen was lovely and beds super comfy!
Ben
Fantastic house, great location only have to walk down the hill and your on one of the nicest beaches, crystal clear water and soft sand, great for swimming. The house was equipped with everything you need plenty of space and a lovely garden and decking for sunbathing. Will definitely be coming here again would reccomend to anyone thank you for a great stay

Suburb well equipped cottage
Sigrid
A lovely seaside feeling bungalow with plenty of room and well equipped situated in a superb location for visiting Cornwall, particularly from Lands End to St Ives and across from Penzance and st Michaelâ??s Mount to Kynance Cove, The Lizard and Coverack which were all easily accessible from Porthcurno. It proved to be an ideal property for several generations of family! We managed to park two vehicles on the driveway, although it can be a little bit tight. The decking was ideal for the toddler and dog to move around safely. The garden, which is safely divided from the decking, has a lovely stream so be mindful when booking with little ones or dogs! All in all a very peaceful property to stay in and we enjoyed our relaxing holiday there.
