Evelyn
This is a really beautiful and spacious house. The layout downstairs is good and the open plan dining kitchen is well enough equipped. The upstairs bedrooms are nicely appointed with large and comfortable beds and plenty of hanging space for clothes. The en-suites are very well fitted as is the family bathroom. The house was extremely clean and fresh, and the garden tidy with grass cut, which allowed the children to run around safely. We also made use of the outdoor dining table. The immediate location is lovely and very quiet - except for the occasional shriek of the peacocks next door at Ellingham Hall. They provided much entertainment for the children! We had a great holiday and felt that the Stone House was an excellent choice for us.
Andrew
Lovely clean house well equipped with quality fittings in an excellent location for surrounding attractions.
Andrew

Stone House is a modern house set in the picturesque village of Ellingham, yet only a few minutes drive from the A1. The house is ideal if you are attending weddings at Newton Hall or Ellingham Hall and all the attractions of Northumberland are within easy reach. The property is very well insulated for sound and thermal comfort. There was ample parking for three vehicles on the forecourt with additional car parkng on the road. The house is comfortably furnished with good quality accessories and very well equipped. The rear garden is fully enclosed which was ideal for our two young grandchildren. The garden overlooks the grounds of Ellingham Hall and you can see the landscaped gardens and resident peacocks. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There are three spacious bathrooms upstairs and a ground floor toilet. We had an enjoyable stay at this property and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Keith
Lovely house in a fantastic position for visiting Northumberland. Clean and very comfortable, in a quiet location but with a pub five minutes walk away doing excellent food. Would definitely go back.
