For Families
The first floor playroom gives children their own dedicated space with Smart TV, games and comfortable seating. Sea views from this room keep them entertained whilst adults use other areas. The beach sits within easy reach for sandcastle building and rock pooling. Sheringham's heritage steam railway runs to Holt, offering a proper steam train experience. Two single bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements for younger guests.
Groups Will Love...
The dedicated first floor playroom transforms group stays by giving younger guests their own entertainment hub. Smart TV and games keep children occupied whilst adults relax elsewhere. Comfortable seating and sea views make this more than just a kids' space. The room sits between bedrooms and living areas, keeping noise contained. This separate zone means everyone gets their own space across the three-floor layout.
Pet Friendly
Seaspray does not accept pets. The property operates a strict no-dogs policy throughout the year. This makes the townhouse unsuitable for guests wanting to bring their animals along. The clifftop location and proximity to beaches might appeal to dog owners, but alternative accommodation would be needed. Consider other properties in the area if travelling with pets is essential to your holiday plans.

Seaspray Reviews

Paul
A very well appointed, clean and nicely proportioned property. A good sized secure garden for our spaniel. Just a short walk to the excellent Preston Gate Inn and easy access to Bude and the A39 Atlantic Highway were definite plus points. Without dedicated parking, it was a little hit and miss as to whether we could park opposite the property but there were only a couple of occasions in the week when we couldn't do so...and the free public car park was only 200 or so metres away.
Carolyn
The Villa at Bude was just perfect for our 2 week stay. The property and garden are quaint and characterful. We had a fabulous time staying there and going out to explore Cornwall. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated. The house is so well equipped and very comfortable. We will miss being there.
John
Excellent in every way!
Lydia
We grabbed a last-minute booking for a few days as we needed time away. The house is beautiful, well equipped & very comfortable, with a super garden so we were able to eat breakfast & dinner outside in the sunshine. Extremely well situated for beaches (our favourite is Sandymouth) & for Bude facilities.
Sarah
Beautifully presented characterful cottage, great location for several beaches and the local pub. Lovely sunny garden with quality garden furniture and umbrella which was really appreciated in the hot weather.
Emma
Lovely house, lots of character, and a big garden which was mostly secure for our dog (there are a couple of vulnerable points where a canine escapologist could jump the wall/fence...plus there are chickens in the adjacent garden that might provide an incentive for some)! Great location - we enjoyed the walk into Bude, and the food + hospitality at the Preston Gate Inn was fantastic. On the downside, the shower pressure was very weak but that's understandable in this kind of property.
Robin
Beautiful cottage, full of character and features. Magnificent garden and in a perfect location for Bude and local attractions.
Rita
Lovely property and big garden. Lots of footpaths to walk. Only downside is that the road outside the property is very busy, not a problem when you're inside but there is no pavement outside the gate. Take extra care when crossing the road especially if you have children.
Nigel
We received a great reception from L on arrival, welcome pack and flowers. No problem with the parking most of the week. The property is in a great location and easy walk of the Preston Gate pub for good meals and drinks where you and any dog are made very welcome. The property is generally very nice and the garden is great. Word of warning to anyone over six feet tall there are many low doors and varying floor levels that make ducking essential.
Martin
A beautiful period cottage bursting with character a short walk from the bustling pub and very convenient for access to Bude and its beaches to the south and the coast to the north and into Devon. The cottage is well equipped and has plenty of space both inside and out. Thanks for the welcome pack, too!
