The Dunes Reviews

Anne
The cottage was perfect for our needs there was plenty of room for all of us plus the dog, it was clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners were lovely and very helpful and local so any problem could be sorted very quickly. The location was ideal for visiting North Cornwall and the beaches of North Devon can't wait to return
Lenore
The is a superb house. All fitting and furnishings are of a very high quality. Great attention to detail. Location ideal for the beach and Tarka trail. We unfortunately had wet and windy weather, but it was lovely to sit and look out of the bi folding doors at the distant views. The outside shower was ideal to wash sandy dog paws. The owners were lovely, meeting us to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend the beautiful house for a holiday. We will definitely be booking again.
Colin
We really enjoyed our stay at the Dunes. As a family of five adults and three young children, we found the property very spacious and comfortable. The house was very well equipped with a large kitchen and open plan living, meaning everyone remained connected. Bifold doors opened onto a view of the estuary and made for an even more spacious feel. A large secure garden allowed the children to run around freely whilst the Hot Tub provided the perfect vantage point for the adults to relax. The Hot Tub was well used during our stay. The beach at Instow is a few minutes stroll along with a restaurant and a couple of pubs. We particularly liked our meal at the Boathouse and also enjoyed a morning coffee there. Communication with owner Naomi was very good, always responding quickly to any questions. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Dunes.
Julie
Beautiful property and lots of nice touches. Easy walking distance to the beach and in a nice secluded position. However, with the windows open lots of ambient noise from the busy road and also the small military depot across the road (reversing vehicles and running of machinery etc) from 7am until late.
Shirley
Absolutely stunning property, and comes equipped with everything you'll need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend it.
Kelly
