About Ocean View

Get the whole gang together at this spacious and stylish family home just outside the lovely village of Old Hunstanton, just 0.5 miles from the beach. Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, it’s perfect for large families or groups of friends who are in search of a smart retreat to call home while they discover the North Norfolk coastline together. Wake up and set off for Old Hunstanton’s wide sandy beach (0.5 miles), where rolling dunes and a row of colourful beach huts make for the perfect morning stroll. Or head into the village (0.5 miles) to check out the art galleries or make a reservation at a Michelin-star restaurant. Further afield, make a beeline for the RSPB reserve at Titchwell Marsh (5.5 miles) for a spot of birdwatching, or sample the local specialities on offer at Norfolk Lavender (3 miles), England’s premier lavender farm. Step inside and head to the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area, a beautifully styled coastal style space showcasing tasteful soft furnishings. Cook up a storm in the Shaker-style kitchen and host a chic dinner at the dining table. Afterwards, relax by the wood burner in the lounge, or push back the patio doors to soak up the views out towards St Edmund’s Arch and the sea beyond. Climb the stairs up to the cottage’s unique look-out, to enjoy one of Hunstanton’s legendary sunsets with a glass of wine. One of the cottage’s four super-king-size bedrooms (which can be made up to twin beds on request) have their own patio doors leading out into the garden, and two have en-suite shower rooms. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the layout. The enclosed garden has two patio areas and a lawned space that’s perfect for sociable BBQ dinners under the open sky. The real treat is the games’ room, which is located in a timber-lined garden room that’s kitted out with a pool table, TV and darts board. There is also a table tennis table outside. Private parking is available for three cars.
