Newton Road Reviews

Andy
Very enjoyable stay in Mumbles some fantastic views and lovely walks along the sea front, area was very accommodating for dogs so eating out was a pleasure, just one issue with the location a very steep hill up to the property. The property itself had ample space with 5 good sized bedrooms and lots of space to relax in the evening, the property did feel a bit tired and in need of some TLC but nothing that spoiled our stay.
Sam
We found this property quite last minute after a cancellation on our initially booked rental on Airbnb. We were able to invite additional guests as 138 Newton road caters for 10 which was great. Location isn't too bad although very steep hills and not ideal for those with mobility issues. The property was spacious and pretty well equipped for our needs.
Marc
The property is very large and suits a multi family booking where volume is the issue. The location is at the top of a hill which is inhumanely steep and suited to walkers of high fitness only. Local on road parking surprisingly good. Could not operate oven and hob repeatedly cut out. We were gobsmacked to find we had to take rubbish bags away at end of week - not on, that. All round accomodation was less good than photos suggested and a little shoddy. Could not contact host as holiday cottages gave dead mobile number and holiday cottages didn't reply to my emails. When finally contacted host, support was not friendly but effective. Mumbles and Gower v. Nice but accommodation comfortable but disappointing.
Michael
We enjoyed the 5 bedroom cottage and there were some parts good: size of rooms, size of kitchen, very good washing machine and tumble dryer, good size fridge and freezer, good shower in the en-suite The views from the cottage of Mumbles bay are glorious.
Joy
A spacious cottage with beautiful views from the garden and three of the bedrooms (especially the master). It's in an excellent position with gorgeous beaches just down the road.
