Hop on the iconic South Sands Ferry from the beach to enjoy Salcombe from the water or take the stunning coastal walk, with its beautiful views overlooking the turquoise water, yachts and golden sands to the centre of the popular sailing town to wander around pretty streets, exploring art galleries and individual shops. Enjoy fresh Salcombe crab and locally caught seafood at one of the many restaurants or sample some delicious Salcombe Dairy ice cream whilst soaking up the wonderful views. In the evenings Moult Hill Barn is the perfect location for the setting sun, fire up the Blackstone griddle, cook up a feast, and enjoy al fresco dining. Offering flexible accommodation, Moult Hill Barn is the ideal destination for a large group holiday to the beautiful sailing town of Salcombe. A stylish front door featuring a porthole leads into a spacious and bright entrance hallway with oak flooring and a high vaulted ceiling, immediately welcoming you into the property. Large floor-to-ceiling glass windows look into the main living area and wide double glass doors lead into the main living space, whilst an oak and glass open tread staircase rises to the first floor. The main living space is a fabulous open plan, incredibly spacious area with stylish oak flooring throughout, perfect for entertaining, relaxing, or simply enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this countryside location. A beautifully designed kitchen with granite worktops and large central island makes self-catering a pleasure for large numbers, with the benefit of two ovens, two dishwashers and two fridge/freezers. The large dining area features a long wooden table and twelve chairs, with an additional extending table and chairs to accommodate larger groups. Windows overlook the side and rear of the barn, and across neighbouring fields, and large glass doors lead out onto the extensive terrace, with a large Blackstone gas griddle for al fresco dining. Moving into the living area, the room can be instantly heated by the delightful wood burning stove; why not relax in front of the fire in one of the four large sofas whilst enjoying a movie on the TV, after a busy day at the beach or enjoying the stunning local coastline! A utility room also sits on the ground floor with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a ground floor cloakroom offers a w.c. There are five bedrooms in total; three on the ground floor and two on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a large bedroom with super-king-size bed (which can be made into twin beds if requested at time of booking) with a spacious and accessible en-suite wet room catering for less mobile guests. The second ground floor bedroom is a family room with one bunk bed with a trundle bed (for 3 children and only available on request), and a double bed. Attached to this bedroom is a bathroom with toilet, bath, and shower. Please note the top bunk bed is suitable for children 6 years and up, with a weight limit of 70kg. The third ground floor bedroom is also a family room and is an ideal cosy space for a family or group of up to five people, containing one set of bunk beds with a trundle bed under (for three children) and a double bed. Attached to this bedroom is an en-suite featuring a walk-in shower, double basin and w.c. Please note the top bunk bed is suitable for children 6 years and up, with a weight limit of 70kg. As we take the oak and glass staircase to the first floor, we come to two further spacious bedrooms both with Super King beds (which can be made into single beds if requested at time of booking), both offering en-suites featuring walk-in showers, basins and w.c. Also on the first floor is a wellness and teaching/presentation room with sofa, chairs, yoga mats and dumbbells, offering a flexible room for group activities. Get online and enjoy being taught a fitness session, learn what is best for your body with Pilates or do something a little more relaxing, the choice is yours! The room is also equipped for guests looking for a breakout space or for an area to use when planning the next exploration of the beautiful South Devon coastline. Open the French windows onto the balcony, breathe in the refreshing Salcombe air and relax with a morning coffee. Secure off-road parking, for up to six cars. Moult Hill Barn is just a 10–15 minute walk to the beautiful golden sandy beaches of South and North Sands, stroll the quiet green bridleway down the hill to the beaches or drive the traditional Devon lanes. Offering flexible accommodation, Moult Hill Barn is the ideal, peaceful destination for a holiday to the beautiful sailing town of Salcombe.
