The best bit was definitely the location - wandering straight into Lydford Gorge to see the Whitelady waterfall was just stunningand we did it a few times. Sometimes the site closes if the weather's too rough or for tree work, so worth checking. The house made a perfect base for exploring Dartmoor. Ohand the hot tub was a real treat. Would happily stay again!

The location's perfect for walks and outdoor funand that gate leading straight to the waterfall was such a treat. The owner was super friendly and helpful, even pre-ordering food for us on arrival - really appreciated that. We also tried clay pigeon shooting at a nearby farm, arranged through the hostand it was so much fun! Would definitely come back!
