Kingswood Castle Road Reviews

Laura
We loved our stay here! The place was super spacious, spotlessand really cozy. The treats for the dogs and the welcome tray were such thoughtful touches. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfy family getaway.
Emma Grace
The house was lovely and in such a great spot. We really enjoyed our time there. The pool table got used every day and the treats on arrival were a nice surprise. Okhampton is a charming little town we'd definitely visit again!
Alex Morgan
We had a fantastic stay! The place was immaculately clean and every detail seemed carefully thought out. The welcome pack was a lovely touch - really appreciated it. Sorry we didn't pack away the puzzle, my husband had spent the whole holiday working on it and just couldn't bring himself to ‘destroy' it! The hot tub was a real highlight, we used it every day after long days out. The games and puzzles kept the kids entertained and off their mobiles for a bit, which was great. Overall, a brilliant holiday!
Alexandra
Honestly, the place was way bigger than the photos suggested - we were pleasantly surprised! The location's spot on, with Simmons Park just a short stroll for dog walks and kids' swings, plus a lovely riverside walk towards the castle nearby. Thanks for a brilliant holiday, we'd definitely come back!
Jamie
Perfect spot to unwind, with excellent facilities and a great deal for what you get. We really enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend!
James
We loved this place! The garden's perfect for our dog, super safe and cosy. Hot tub was spotless and a great touch. It's a great spot in Okehampton, close to everything we needed.
Emily
Really enjoyed our stay, the place was lovely and close to townand the owner was so friendly!
Emily Carter
We enjoyed our stay here, especially the spacious rooms which could easily fit king-sized beds. The house has some lovely features that give it character, but a few small tweaks might make it perfect. Be prepared for lots of stairs-two flights to reach the main living area-and stair gates are handy for dogs and kids. The location's great for exploring Okehampton, although parking can be tricky for larger cars at the front. Overall, a good spot with a few minor things to improve, but we'd probably stay again!
Alex
We had an amazing stay here! The hot tub and pool table definitely made it special. The place was so clean and the ensuites were really spacious, which was great. The big TVs in the main area and bedrooms were a nice touch. We'd happily come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
Emma Parker
We had a great stay! The house was perfect for our group of six adults and two dogs. It's surprisingly spacious and never felt cramped. Everything was thought of, making it one of the best-equipped places we've been to. The location is ideal-close enough to the motorway but peaceful enough to relax. Meldon Reservoir nearby was a lovely spot for a walk, definitely worth a visit. We'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy, well-located holiday home!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at Kingswood. The house really is stunning and super well-equipped - everything you could think of is there. The place was spotless when we arrived, which was great. Monica, who lives next door, was so friendly and always ready to help if we needed anything; her kindness really made a difference. Oakhampton has all the shops you'd want, including three supermarkets. To reach the beach or larger shopping centres, it's about a 40-minute drive, but it's totally worth it. We loved it!
