We enjoyed our stay here, especially the spacious rooms which could easily fit king-sized beds. The house has some lovely features that give it character, but a few small tweaks might make it perfect. Be prepared for lots of stairs-two flights to reach the main living area-and stair gates are handy for dogs and kids. The location's great for exploring Okehampton, although parking can be tricky for larger cars at the front. Overall, a good spot with a few minor things to improve, but we'd probably stay again!

Monica, who lives next door, was so friendly and always ready to help if we needed anything; her kindness really made a difference. Oakhampton has all the shops you'd want, including three supermarkets. To reach the beach or larger shopping centres, it's about a 40-minute drive, but it's totally worth it. We loved it!
