Heron House Reviews

Rosemary
The house is welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. Kitchen was well equipped, the bed linen spotless & comfy. We had to report that the hoover wasn't working. The staff in the bistro were very friendly & helpful. We had a great time.
John
Lovely house, well equipped, good location for beach and country walks. Kids loved it, walk around the vineyard and the playground area, pub about 400 yards away and cafe/vineyard shop next to house serves a good Sunday brunch and breakfast.
Gordon
Super property in a good location. We stayed with the family (3 generations) and were lucky with weather and enjoyed the facilities on hand.
Helen
Absolutely beautiful! The house, gardens and the surrounding vineyard were even better than expectations. All the rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated. The surrounding terraces and balconies had spectacular views. I just wish we had stayed longer to enjoy them. Everything in the kitchen was spotlessly clean as were the bathrooms and bedrooms. I loved the little alcove overlooking the kitchen. Everyone we met in the adjoining restaurant were very welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly recommend it to friends. We may even come down again ourselves in the future.
Matthew
The cottage was very comfortable and generally very well equipped. The location was ideal for days out and close to local amenities.
Ish
From start to finish, our weekend at Heron House was nothing short of amazing! I booked it for a hen party, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The hosts were absolutely incredibleâ??so welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. The house itself is stunningâ??beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The location is equally breathtaking, offering plenty of privacy while still feeling luxurious and special. We also opted for the private chef experience, which was an absolute highlight. The food was outstanding and made our weekend feel even more special. I genuinely cannot fault a single thing about Heron House or the hosts. If youâ??re looking for a place that delivers on every level, this is it. Thank you for making our weekend so perfectâ??we will be talking about it for years to come!
