Is Maryland Right For Your Group

Discover why this cottage is the one for your party or family reunion...

For Families
The Gower beaches provide excellent family activities with rock pooling at Oxwich Bay and surfing lessons available at several locations. Three Cliffs Bay offers safe swimming areas and sandy beaches for building sandcastles. Gower Heritage Centre runs craft workshops and has farm animals. The coastal paths include easier sections suitable for children. Swansea city centre has LC Waterpark and Plantasia tropical zoo within 25 minutes drive.
Groups Will Love...
The four bathrooms at Maryland solve the biggest challenge of group holidays. Eight guests can get ready simultaneously without bathroom conflicts or morning queues. Each bathroom serves just two people on average. This setup means your group spends more time enjoying Gower together rather than waiting for showers. The open-plan living spaces complement this by giving everyone room to gather for meals and evening socialising after beach days.
Pet Friendly
Maryland does not accept pets. Dogs and other animals cannot stay at this property. You'll need to arrange alternative care for pets during your visit. The property owners maintain a no-pets policy across the accommodation. If travelling with animals is essential, you should look for alternative Gower properties that specifically welcome pets. Many nearby cottages do accept dogs if this is a requirement for your group.

Maryland Reviews

Kathryn
A lovely house overall. The cleaning team were exceptional. Very spacious & ideal for a family group of three generations. Just a few niggly problems which we have highlighted above & directly contacted Holiday Cottages about.
Mark
Nice house, access can be an issue and smallish drive for 4 cars
Pauline
The cottage is airy and spacious and well situated within walking distance of 2 beaches although the return is quite a steep climb so not suitable for everyone. There are car parks at the beaches though. There are lots of places to visit within reasonable distance. We did not have good weather but still found things to do. The flexibility of being able to have the beds made up as singles or doubles means it works well for different family groups and there is plenty of space in all the bedrooms. The television is in a separate lounge so individuals can watch if they want whilst others talk or play games. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
Andrew
A beautiful house that proved a perfect spot for our extended family Easter break. The short walk to Langland Bay Golf Course- and then on to the coastal path was an unknown joy. Proximity to Caswell Bay and the Mumbles make this a perfect spot.
Polli
The cottage has everything we needed for a lovely family week away. The access is tight by car as is getting in to drive. Good walking access to Mumbles and Langland. There is currently building works in progress in neighbouring property which made it quite noisy in the daytime.
Wendy
We enjoyed staying at Maryland. Three generations fitted in well. Plenty of room inside and outside, with choice of lounge to be together or apart. The kitchen is well-fitted, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were roomy. The footpath from Hillgrove to either Caswell Bay or Langland Bay is quite short and very scenic.
Robert
A fantastic modern house that does make you go WOW! as you walk through the door. Plenty of space with a living room, a TV room, an upstairs sitting area and a dining area. Also 4 large bedrooms with massive and comfortable beds and comfy. We couldn't ask for more and thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. The improvements suggested above certainly did not spoil anything. They are just little things that need looking at.
