What an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish, the property was extremely clean well equipped and even come with some nice free touches such as wine and milk. Things needed for the first night after a long drive. The owner spoke with us about the check in and how to operate some of the appliances and hot tub etc. Very friendly and helpful indeed. We even tried to extend our stay and loved the property and area so much. Will definitely be revisiting my wife even wants to book Christmas stay here but as expected it is fully booked. What a lovely property and experience. 5 stars for us . Well done.
We had a fantastic weekend celebrating a birthday with a group of girls. The property was perfect for our staycomfortable, welcoming, and wellequipped. Mair, the owner, was absolutely brilliantso helpful and friendly leading upthroughout our visit. We enjoyed a delicious meal from the local Chinese takeaway, which delivered straight to us with no hassle. On Saturday, we dined at the Halfway Inn, just a 5minute drive awaya charming little pub with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely return and stay again. Highly recommended!
This was my second time visiting this delightful cottage. Everything was as I remembered it but one thing was even better a roof over the hot tub! This cottage is so homely and comfortable we did not want to leave. I am sure I will be visiting again in the not so near future.
What a beautiful holiday home! Everything you could need the most comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great power showers, two areas to sit and relax outside and an out of this world hot tub. The only downside for us and our 4 legged friend was that we were surrounded by beautiful countryside but there was no access to walk and enjoy it the property is down single track lanes which were hairy to drive, let alone walk in! This was the only disappointment for us and Ted! but otherwise a beautiful, chilled week. Mair and Huw property owners were so friendly and helpful when we spoke to them too thank you

Mair the owner was extremely helpful, very friendly and the oversee of her property clearly shown with considerable care and consideration. I would therefore highly recommend a holiday at the property and location. Having used the company Sykes on several occasions, this is the first time that we have asked for information from an owner regarding the make of a product, namely a mattress, as well as the Sheets because we want to replicate. We had a lovely stay at Yr Hen Beudy. The cottage was well equipped and had everything you'd need for your stay. The cottage has two gardens, both of which are enclosed which was great for the dog. We thought the hottub would be in the larger, back garden where the lawn is but it was actually in the front patio area. Either way, the hot tub was great and used most days to relax after walks. The cottage has a lovely wood burner and logs were provided which we appreciated very much! They have a fire stick in the living room TV so you can log into Netflix etc. The only downside for me was the pillows as I found them all extremely lumpy. The mattress was very comfy though! Thanks for a lovely stay

The cottage was lovely and warm and very clean. Televisions in all bedrooms , and an enclosed garden which was great for the dog. Bedrooms very good size , the beds very comfortable and 3 bathrooms which was wonderful. Beautiful view from back garden over the countryside. Had a lovely meal at Y farmers pub approx 5 mins drive. Would recommend and stay again. Very quiet and peaceful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yr Hen Beudy. It provided a comfortable retreat after our busy days discovering the sights and delights of the area. Although the farm was very close by we had no disturbance, the only noise being from the local jackdaws and overhead kites calling, much to our delight as keen birdwatchers. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed. The fittings and decor were excellent. Really enjoyed the hot tub, the automatic cover was so easy to raise and lower and gave us shelter when it rained. What a Beautiful Cottage with breathtaking views. ..... just a perfect family weekend away. Situated 5 miles outside of Aberystwyth , approx 15min car journey, a town with plenty do to and see. I can highly recommend the Hafod Restaurant in Devils Bridge for a 5 supper. Absolutely everything you can think of is available at the cottage with a bonus of a hot tub to relax and unwid. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. We will 100 be booking again. Diolch eto.
We had a wonderful stay, the property was ideal for leaving the real world behind for a while, very comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the hot tub was an added bonus. We were able to watch the starlings start their fly past in the evenings, red kites riding the thermals and listened to tawny owls in the fields.

The website photographs do not do this property justice as it was beyond our expectations. The beds were to die for, the log burner was amazing and the views were outstanding. The hot tub was rather special even in the rain we would recommend adding a cover to it. We had the most spectacular stay and we didn't want to leave. All in all a triumphant weeks holiday!

Stunning cottage in a rural location but only 5 miles away by car to Aberystwyth centre. Cottage was very clean and comfortable and the hosts exceptionally welcoming leaving flowers and Welsh cakes for our arrival! Unfortunately we had a car accident on the way to the cottage and were unable to get home as planned, the host was extremely supportive and accommodating throughout the situation and we are very thankful! Would recommend to anyone looking for a rural country break. Our party was 6 adults and one baby, plenty of room ensuring you are not on top of each other. Hot tub also a nice touch
