Witsend Reviews

Jennifer
Have previously stayed at Witsend in 2021 and pleased by the updates to equipment, and in particular the enlargement of the parking area. A few more things are still needed, mirror in main bathroom, reinstate the ceiling lighting in the conservatory and a clock would be useful. This was the 2nd week of our fortnight's stay - had made separate bookings in order to have linen changed and interim clean. We found the cleaning contractors to be super helpful and responsive.
Jennifer
Lovely spacious, clean and comfortable property in a fabulous location, short walking distance to the sea with shops and places to eat nearby. We could comfortably accommodate four large cars on the recently modified driveway.
Sian
Had a wonderful week at Witsend , total success with adults and children alike . Very well equipped, beds comfortable and perfect location . Would love to come back again
Margaret Ann
A spacious house, perfectly situated for a beach holiday. Extremely well equipped and ideal for an extended family.
Philip
Excellent location with ample parking Lovely secluded garden space with garden furniture{not mentioned in details} Good sized rooms with snug downstairs handy as a baby room Plenty of kitchen equipment with 2 fridges and freezers Plenty of plugs Supermarket delivery available - very pleased with Tesco online shop
Charles
Fantastic location and suited our family ideally. Even at the height of summer, Horton is quiet and remarkably few people on the beach Plenty of facilities within easy reach
Julie
The house is in a great location five minutes walk from the beach. It has a large well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and cutlery and lots of space for food. The two freezers and a second fridge were very useful for a large family. The beds were quite comfy with nice linen and duvets. A little more of a tidy up with the garden would have improved it.
Richard
Great size and location, the house just needs a bit of TLC.
Helen
This property is comfortable but we felt lacked small homely touches like a large mirror in the bathroom, bins in the bedrooms etc. We would describe it as adequate, no welcoming pint of milk or other small details. Wifi fell in and out while my son was trying to work.
Sue
The property is lovely and the location was perfect.
Daksha
Fabulous location, easy walking to shops and pubs. Spacious and well equipped.
Ceril
An excellent stay in a first class holiday home. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this superbly located property. Loved every minute and we'll be back.
Kathryn
Nice property, lovely location
Felicity
Lovely property in a fantastic location. Ticked all the boxes we needed with a Toddler, dog and grandparents!
Louise
The cottage is ideally situated near the beach. Very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with various machines and plenty of fridge and freezer space.
