Set in a quiet village close to the coast, with a good pub and walks from the door, it has a wood burner for winter warmth and a lovely garden for summertime meals - a great choice all year round. A clever design combines beautiful 19th century features such as exposed beams and flint with gorgeous antique furnishings and modern amenities. Due to its age and character, the house has various levels on all floors throughout. The delightful kitchen has a small snug area at the end of the room, perfect for chatting to the cook. Enjoy your meals at the oak table in the dining room, and after supper you can hunker down in front of the Smart TV in the elegant lounge. On the ground floor there’s also a laundry room and a useful shower room. A Norfolk winder staircase (steeply turning, with narrow treads) takes you to two of the first-floor bedrooms, a king-size and a double, which share a family bathroom. A separate staircase, from the lounge, takes you to two double bedrooms and another shower room. On the second floor, the fifth bedroom is a king-size, with a beautiful wooden sleigh bed, an apex roof and country views. The patio in the enclosed garden boasts a gas BBQ and outdoor furniture, while the lawn (up two steps) is a great place for dogs and children to play. Quiet walks and trails criss-cross the landscape around the ancient village of Wighton. The beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham can be reached within 5 miles, and the Georgian town of Burnham Market, with its shops and restaurants around the village green, is just 7.5 miles.

Willow Cottage Reviews

Emily
This is a gorgeous house, beautifully decorated and furnished, loads of space and everything you could need. Impeccably clean and new bathrooms throughout. The village is lovely and quiet, walks from the door and a great pub. The owner was very welcoming, communicative and very helpful with question we had. Weâ??d definitely stay here again and highly recommend, particularly for big families as itâ??s set up so well for that.
Camilla
We had such a wonderful stay, it truly felt like home from home with all the personal touches. The interiors were beautiful, the house was clean and the owners Chris and Julia were fantastic and very accommodating. We canâ??t wait to stay again soon.

We absolutely loved our stay at Willow Cottage. The decor, coziness, beds, outside space (we were lucky to have wonderful weather) were all amazing. We found the location to be perfect - the village is so peaceful, but within such a close distance to so many other lovely places and beaches. And the proximity to the excellent village pub? Ideal!! We met the owner Chris a couple of times and he was absolutely lovely, weâ??d love to come back and stay at Willow (or one of his other properties) again. Thanks for a great week :)
Samantha
Absolutely amazing weekend away at Willow Cottage. Booked for a family weekend for a 40th birthday. The cottage surpassed our expectations, itâ??s even more delightful than the photos. The location is great for exploring the north Norfolk coast. The cottage is very well equipped with everything youâ??d need. All the bedrooms and furnishings are lovely. Chris was brilliant helping with anything we needed. The doggos loved the little courtyard too. Will definitely be back and would recommend for anyone. Thanks for a fab weekend.
