West Farleigh Barn Reviews

Harper
We stayed at this lovely place nestled in the countryside, surrounded by gentle hills. It's perfect for a big group - the communal spaces are spacious and great for socialising. The kitchen was fully equipped, making cooking easyand the bedrooms were really comfy. All the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained. The hot tub was a definite highlight; we had some fantastic evenings there. It's a bit tricky to find at first, but the hosts were really helpful when we got a bit lost. Definitely recommend!
Jamie
This place is really lovely, spacious, comfyand in a great area. Highly recommend!
Emma Roberts
We had such a lovely stay at West Farleigh Barn! There were 8 of us, ranging from 73 to 13 years old, plus our two chihuahuas. Everyone loved the huge garden - the dogs had a blastand my wildlife-loving dad really appreciated the peaceful surroundings. Being in mid Devon was spot on, with easy drives to both north and south Devon. The single track road leading up to the property wasn't too busy, so no worries there. A week of pure relaxation, family timeand relaxing in the hot tub - just what we needed. Thanks so much!
Jessica
Honestly, the place exceeded our expectations. It's spotless and super comfy, plus the owners really went the extra mile to make sure everything was sorted. The views are absolutely stunning-had an amazing time! Would definitely recommend.
Emma Clarke
This place was fantastic! The house itself was cosy and had such stunning views, we couldn't stop taking photos. It felt really warm and invitingand you could tell the owners put loads of effort into making sure we enjoyed our stay. Honestly, we'd definitely come back!

Stunning scenery
Victoria
The Barn house is stunning and in a quiet, rural location, though a supermarket and town are only a 10 min drive away. The house has everything you need and we were greeted with a celebration hamper from our lovely hosts on arrival. Very dog friendly - with an outdoor shower for muddy paws, a huge enclosed garden and a well equipped laundry room wi th outdoor access. Our pups also loved the underfloor heating and sleeping in front of the log burner. Cant wait to return.
Jasdeep
We had a fantastic stay with incredible hosts. Our group of 10 stayed for a week and we were blown away by the service and the quality of the home. The surrounding areas are beautiful, perfect for walks and just right for a chilled out break. We got a bit caught up in the snow and Mr Baker was kind enough to help clear the pathway and even supplied us with fresh eggs and milk! They really went above and beyond, even when we had loads of questions.
Robert
This property has wonderful views, is well presented and provided a lovely base for our holiday. It's well provisioned with nice owners. The Wifi is not good but loads of other things to do. A big negative is access to the cottage, by miles of single track road with limited passing points, v dangerous, often having to reverse in narrow lane to pass oncoming vehicles, including a tractor, it was v stressful resulting in us not wanting to go out. Had I known this I would not have booked it.
James
What a lovely barn we've found! It's tucked away in a quiet, remote setting that really adds to its charm. Perfect for a peaceful getaway!
Charlotte
