Steven
Beautiful house, and gardens such a lovely design and use of space, beds and pillows so comfortable, Had minor issue with shower soak away, phoned came out fixed canâ??t fault service received. The gardens are lovely little sun traps where you can take a cup of tea and while away the time. Nice dog walk right opposite the front door, and plenty of car parking.
Emma
Beautiful house in an ideal location for exploring Norfolk. The house is very spacious for a large group and we'll equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely return again for staying in Norfolk.
Nina
The St. Lawrence house is a lovely old property with beautiful grounds. A beautiful kitchen, sufficient, laundry, and food storage space. And all the appliances that you need to cook a meal for a dinner party. Nicely decorated with some modern touches that donâ??t take away from its 19th century period Charm.
Michael
Lovely location and property, loved what the owners have done to the property, retaining plenty of character of the building.
Cathy
Comfortable, spacious house in a lovely village location. Extremely well equipped kitchen for self catering. Suited our group of 8 adults perfectly. Warm and welcoming and a fabulous base for a relaxed New Year celebration.
Michelle
St Lawrence House is perfect for a family or group of friends, we spent Christmas week at the property and found the house very well equipped for catering the festive season, also tastefully decorated. It really felt like home from home. There were plenty of logs and coal for the fire in the dining hall. The family room/ space great for being together with the bonus of separate sitting rooms to escape if needed. Beds are very comfortable ( a rare treat in a holiday rental). It really is a lovely house.
Karen
Great place - we enjoyed the space, the tranquility and the really comfortable beds!
Judith
We like to cook family meals on holiday so were delighted with the wide range of cooking implements, big pans, crockery and cutlery etc as it is not always the case in houses that sleep 9. Big tables inside and outside too. Great.
Joan
This large beautiful cottage was perfect for multi- generational families in an excellent location for exploring this part of Norfolk. There are plenty of places to visit within a few miles, and coastal resorts also within easy reach. Harpley is a delightful village with easy walks from the door, but longer walks are readily accessible for the more adventurous. The Rose and Crown is a two minute walk away and serves good food and a range of beers. We would particularly recommend Sunday Lunch which was excellent. A well stocked shop and post office is to be found in Great Massingham together with a tearoom and also The Dabbling Duck public house which also serves meals. We heartily recommend St Lawrence House!
Isabel
This house was a spectacular place for a wonderful Christmas, with family and friends. The beds were extremely comfortable, house cosy and warm and it had plenty of room for a large party to break off and find their own spaces. The extraordinary thing about this house and the reason we would very highly recommend it, was that extent to which it was equipped. The kitchen was set up for cooks, with all the equipment you usually wonder if you have to bring, from sharp knives to cake tins! This attention to detail, extended to crockery, cutlery, glasses and serving bowls inc. a turkey platter, gravy boats and a butter dish. The silent setting was blissful and had lovely walks through the village and was literally doors down was a an excellent pub, where we had a great meal.
