The South West Coast Path passes through the village, offering fabulous walking opportunities with far-reaching views. After a day of adventure, enjoy al fresco meals on the terrace overlooking the garden. The large, period property is full of original features and has been tastefully decorated with pale tones, delicate soft furnishings, and country-cottage-style furniture. Enter the accommodation into the bright kitchen/diner, which has elegant slate flooring and two dining areas to seat up to ten people, making it a great space for entertaining. Just off the kitchen/diner is a utility room as well as a handy wet room. The welcoming lounge is a lovely space to unwind, with a cosy wood burner and a Smart TV and DVD player for enjoying movie nights together. All four bedrooms are located upstairs, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. The family bathroom is also on this level. Outside, dine alfresco using the BBQ on the sheltered terrace, whilst the children play on the lawn. There’s also a handy rail and hose for cleaning wetsuits. The charming village of Rock has a small collection of shops, including a bakery and dairy, so you can sample the local produce. Just across the estuary, via the ferry, is the bustling harbour town of Padstow. Here, you’ll find a fantastic selection of eateries, many showcasing fresh seafood, as well as many boutiques and galleries to explore. The town is also the start of the Camel Trail, should you wish to explore on two wheels. Further afield, day trips include Port Isaac, Tintagel, and Boscastle (all within 17 miles).
