Preswylfa Reviews

Stayed here with family for our sons 30th birthday. Lovely house which supplied everything needed for a weekend away. 5 large bedrooms with very comfy beds. Upstairs living room fab and very cosy with lovely views. Some tips you may find useful if looking to stay here. In a lovely rural location although you can hear traffic at all times of day and night as house is on a main road. Close enough to many supermarkets so you don't have to shop before you leave home as owner leavers staples eg salt, vinegar, pepper, teabags, cooking oil, washing up liquid Bring slipperssocks as downstairs is tiled throughout and can feel cold even with heating on. More than enough pots, pans, cutlery, plates etc All in all one of the best houses we have stayed in and would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful property and so close to Conwy. Had a fabulous three nights with my family. Communication with Nicky and Rob was great. Highly recommended
Lovely spacious get away. Located in a lovely part just maybe 10 minutes away from conwy. Owners had great communication and asked if we needed anything, just to contact them. Nicky gave great insight into the area and recommendations taken on board, and used. Would definitely recommend and rent again.
Great property for family groups, well equipped. We enjoyed our stay thank you.
Preswylfa is a fantastic cottage. Plenty of room for 10 of us and a great layout. We loved the upstairs lounge with balcony great views. Very clean and comfortable with good sized bedrooms. Lovely big kitchen and outside area. Set away so it was quiet but not so out of the way that you are far from amenities. Conwy is gorgeous and a short drive away with supermarkets. Closer there's a convenience store. The Groes Inn just up the road is lovely. Kitchen large and well stocked with utensils etc. Choice of two extra large tables in different rooms to have dinner around. There was a small issue with the washing machine but this was rectified immediately by owner Nicky who was really helpful. Recommend

We absolutely loved it, best cottage we have stayed in, it had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be returning. The beds are so comfy, lovely welcome pack, towels for hot tub available, The views are spectacular, great walks and short car drive to Conwy, supermarkets Lidl and Tesco in Conwy.
A nice, clean, well equipped property in a good location for attractions across North Wales. The grandchildren loved the games room and play house. Outdoor space was good and enclosed. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. As a bird watcher, looking out of the kitchen window and seeing buzzards and red kites flying over the trees across the road was a bonus. Nice views from the first floor lounge, despite the weather! Would happily stay there again.
A lovely property with lots of home comforts. Spacious accommodation and and games for the children. Peaceful location but definitely need a car. We are a multi generational family and all of us enjoyed our stay. Thank you to our host who set up the tvs for us when we struggled.
Claire
My family group really appreciated the homeliness and comfort of this very wellequipped house. The outside space is well designed with a range of different seating options. The adults really enjoyed the hot tub! The location is stunning with glorious country views, yet within very easy reach of Conwy and Llandudno. We had a great time at Preswylfa!
Beautiful holiday home

The holiday cottage was amazing. It was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and on hand for any queries. We had an issue with the heating and hot water on one evening and it was rectified the next day. The cottage is in a beautiful spot with amazing views, and had a very friendly peacock who visited in the evenings.

Preswylfa is an enormously comfortable and convenient house in the gorgeous Welsh countryside close to both Snowdonia and the coast. For us, it was perfect, as we were a large family group enjoying a rare reunion and a visit to Conway Castle. The proprietors are very kind and gerneroushearted people, who are to be thanked for making such a wonderful home available to the public to rent.
A cosy and inviting place with more than enough great features. Loads of room. Both upstairs and downstairs lounges great for big family gathering. Hot tub treemendous great size and always hot and bubbling. Good place for dogs too. Easy access to good pubs by car and very near to Conwy and Betws. Owners are very helpful and position means neighbours don't get troubled.

Preswylfa was absolutely perfect the property exceeded our expectations. Location, comfort, cleanliness the house had everything we needed to make our three night weekend away second to noneall 10 adults and two dogs were very happy indeed! The kind special touches left for our arrival were lovely, and very much appreciated thank you Nicky
Had a wonderful week here with the family. Definitely kid friendly and ideally located for exploring the North Wales area. Great communication with the owner too. Would definitely consider staying here again.

What a beautiful place to spend a week with our family. We were welcomed with a lovely card from the owner and some tasty bread, biscuits, butter and milk, which were gratefully received. The house is in a beautiful area of Snowdonia within easy driving reach of Conwy and Llandudno. There are plenty of attractions in these towns for the children as well as further afield in Bangor and Anglesy. The house was well presented and very clean. It provided everything we needed with two very comfortable family areas and the bedrooms and bathrooms were great for our group of nine. The garden area was usefully split with the hot tub and barbecue areas fenced off. This helped with keeping the dogs segregated when required. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend it to other larger groups. One small point the bedrooms would benefit from a chest of drawers for nonhanging items. Thanks very much Nicky. We had a great time.
