Piglet Cottage Reviews

Andrew
We had a lovely stay at piglet cottage. It was really spacious and comfy, we were welcomed to a lovely welcome basket. My only negative is the garden isnt fully enclosed, as our dogs could jump the wall with ease and although not on a busy road the cars that come through do at speed. We ended up keeping the dogs indoors which was a shame.
Fabulous holiday, weather was perfect, accommodation was perfect for the family and even the dog that we did not have at the time of booking.
Hilary
Piglet Cottage was very comfortable and spacious. The owners had made every effort to ensure the cottage was equipped for large groups and excellent dog blankets so furry friends could lounge in style! The kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed the jacuzzi! Thank you for the lovely welcome hamper. Note no hairdryer available large grass area not fenced.
Hello, we had a lovely holiday, however there are a few points of improvement that we'd like to mention 1. A tumble dryer would be appreciated when we have 10 people, including 4 children 2. Anti slip floor coveringmats around the hot tub is essential, as one member of our family fell & hit his head, ending up in A&E 3. Downstairs bedroom had a sloping roof from the staircase, which cut across the door which was a hazard 4. The sloping rooves are also in the 2 bedded room which again are a hazard for banging your head, which happened a few times 5. We did wonder why the logburner wasn't operational, even though it is inserted into the house details online. 6. We have contacted you about a blanket that we left behind. We were told that this would be looked into & you would notify us either way but unfortunately we havent heard anything from you, even though we know that the property is empty for November. Kind regards Mr & Mrs Woolgar
Good location. Kitchen very well stocked apart from not enough eating knives. Hot tub lovely. Would recommend to all, but dog owners need to be aware garden is not secure. All of our 4 cocker spaniels could jump the wall and therefore could not be outside unsupervised.
This is a beautiful holiday cottage ! ! The decor is tastefully done and creates a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The location is remote and peaceful for large families but only a short car ride to beautiful local beaches and towns. The cottage is really well equipped for cosy evenings in, plenty of room for all ages We would definetly return again
The only dissapoimtment was there was no tumble drier available . We needed this with the children and bedding but the cottage was lovely and we had a lovely welcome box

We had a lovely stay in Piglet Cottage. The cottage was spotless when we arrived. The welcome basket was amazing and we really enjoyed everything in it. We can't wait to eat our newly dug potatoes! The cottage is so well equipped, the added bonus of a bbq which is not listed on your site! The dogs were well taken care of and enjoyed the garden, the dog towels were a must with the weather. Thank you for everything.
Kathryn
Fantastic location, just a short walk to the costal path and beautiful views of Pembrokeshire, so many beaches within driving distance and a lovely village pub down the road. The house has everything, kitchen is fully stocked and the bedrooms beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Little touches like the welcome basket, dog toys and dog blankets were really appreciated. The welcome book wasnt detailed enough though, no information about where to find the thermostat this is my only criticism of the property. Plenty of room outside, with a huge patio and hot tub and lots of room for the dog to run around. Big thank you to David who was on hand to help with anything we needed. Our family of 9 loved it and will definitely be back.
No hot water No working washing machine as advertised The water in the hot tub looked like we would catch something if we used it. The place hadnt been throughly cleaned in a long time including past visitors dirty socks found in one of the beds I have tried for 6 weeks to get a response to this but the attitude appears to be that if my complaints are ignored, then well eventually stop trying
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Piglet Cottage and it was a fantastic experience. The property itself was superb and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hot tub and the garden, along with the outdoor space, were real highlights and made our holiday extra special. Piglet Cottage is excellently located, with easy access to beautiful beaches and charming surrounding villages. A special mention must go to the owner, Lisa. She was incredibly helpful and lovely, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience. We would definitely recommend Piglet Cottage for anyone looking for a great holiday retreat. We had a wonderful time and if we ever visit South Wales for future holidays would definitely book a repeat visit.
