We had a fantastic weekend with our group of five couples staying at this place. Honestly, the size of the property surprised us - it was way bigger than we thought, giving us all plenty of space to relax and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was spot-on, fully stocked, which made preparing meals for ten a breeze. We loved the quirky charm of the old building - those uneven stairs and slightly wonky floors definitely add character, though fair warning if mobility's an issue. Also, if you're tall, be prepared to duck in a few spots; one of our group is over 6ft 6 and kept knocking his head! The log fire in the living room was lovely, especially in the evening when we sat around chatting and playing games. The outside hot tub was another highlight, well used by everyone. Chris, the host, was super responsive and helpful with questions before we arrived. Overall, we'd really recommend it and would happily come back again - it's got a warm, inviting vibe that made our weekend special!
