New Elms Farmhouse, Melbourne

The farmhouse was stunning! So beautifully presented and ideal for a long weekend away celebrating a special occasion. The view from the hot tub was fab and the place was filled with all the amenities you need. The Staleys were fantastic hosts, really responsive and helpful throughout our stay which was hugely appreciated they even left a birthday card and put a banner for my Mum who we were surprising plus, a gorgeous hamper too! Would highly recommend booking, we'd love to go back in the summer to make the most of the outdoor area! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay

Do not hesitate to book this property, you will not regret staying here trust me. We had the most amazing weekend stay here for a girlie get togetherbirthday. The house is clean, spacious, warm & the view's are just beautiful. The beds were super comfy too. The owner's were very attentive if needed but not intrusive to say they lived next door. The welcome basket was a very nice touch & a bday card & chocolates. We will definitely be booking again & already had a couple of inquiries of where we stayed from friend's who would like to also

The house was even better than the images, finished to a high standard, with great views from the back of the property, would highly recommend. there are a number of great walks from the house and the walk into Melbourne was only 15 mins too.

Absolutely beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location! The property was spotlessly clean and finished to a very high spec. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, with wonderful dog walks right from the doorstep. We couldnt have asked for more highly recommended!

Great place for a 3 generation family holiday. The house is perfect, clean and spacious it's exactly as described in the details and has everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The welcome basket was much appreciated especially since I'd forgotten to pack ground coffee! Ali is a lovely, friendly host, proactive and very responsive, she gave us plenty of suggestions for places to visit to suit our party. The local, child friendly,pub is within easy walking distance and the cycle way proved a great favourite with the youngsters. Lots of NT locations to visit nearby too. Can't praise New Elms Farmhouse enough, we'd not hesitate to try and book it again if we're planning another visit to this beautiful area.

Weve just returned from New Elms Farmhouse after a week of celebrations for my special birthday. I couldnt have asked for any more. The house is wonderful, warm, has the most amazing views and fantastic hot tub. Everything in the house is to a high standard and so comfortable. Ali the owner lives next door with her family and is so lovely, she couldnt do enough to make us all feel welcome and anything we needed was sorted, I even had some lovely flowers and chocolates left for my birthday, thank you so much. We had brilliant weather and enjoyed sitting in garden, having birthday bbqs and watching the little horses mooch around the field, so relaxing. We visited Bluebells farm with the grandchildren which was close by and would highly recommend. Just want to say thank you and will hopefully visit again in the future. X

We have stayed in many holiday cottages, and this is certainly the best and the best by a good margin. The cottage is spacious, spotless, and beautifully furnished. The setting is spectacular, the garden with hot tub and the grounds and paddock are a delight. We enjoyed meeting the animals and looking out every day over such lovely countryside. Ali was the perfect host, attentive without intruding and her welcome gift basket was much appreciated. Thank you Ali for a perfect stay.

A week of total relaxation. So comfortable. And our host Ali ? Well. If wed have asked her to tuck us up in bed and sing us a lullaby, she would have!

We had a lovely break, the views from patio and hot tub area was great. The area is still under improvement so small children and pets require supervision but we had no issue with this. The children loved meeting the horses and the owners were accommodating when we had an query. They live next door but never intruded and we're there to help if needed. We had all we needed and the area had lots for the children and dogs to keep us all happy. The farmhouse was beautiful and we would stay again which says everything.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The property is spotless, roomy, beautiful and has everything you need. The views spectacular. Hot tub obviously a winner! Only a 20 minute walk to Melbourne. Ali is an absolutely perfect hostess. Provided us with excellent advice on local restaurants and places to go. Meeting Seren, Aria and Layla an added bonus We had the best family holiday to suit all ages and I absolutely recommend staying here . We had the most amazing stay.

We had a lovely stay at this property and the host was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The property was immaculate and we'll be visiting again in the future. Thoroughly recommended.

What an incredible property. Immaculately clean, fitted out to the highest quality. Equipped with everything you could need, and views to die for! The hosts were absolutely lovely, leaving a card & balloon when they discovered we were there for our sons 21st. Would totally recommend, and will definitely return. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We loved our stay in this amazing property. It was comfortable and had beautiful views of the countryside. The garden and hot tub were a real bonus as we the hosts who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, welcome and ensure that we had everything that we needed. The kids even got to meet their animals which was a highlight for them. We would definitely recommend this property.

5 Stars Perfect Girly Getaway! We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage for a girly getaway with two kids, and it couldnt have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so cozy and welcoming. The cottage was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. A special mention has to go to Alison, who was absolutely lovely! She made us feel right at home and even took the time to let us and the kids visit her horses such a thoughtful and memorable touch that made our stay even more special. It was the ideal mix of peaceful countryside vibes and quality time with the girls and some muchneeded fresh air for the little ones too!. We honestly didnt want to leave and are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Hi I went For A Break To Celebrate My Birthday And Also Have Some Peace And Relaxation As I Care For My Elderly Mother Who Has Dementia My Mother Also Came With Us Amd My Partner And Two Teenage Boys . Firstly On Arrival We Were Greated warmly By The Host who Explained Everything we Needed to Know About How To Settle In .The Farm Itself Has Picturesque Views That Instantly Brings You To A Level Off Calmness .The Farm Is Amazing And The Photos Dosent Do It Justice Only Because You Need to see It With Your Own Eyes . During The Short stay We Felt at Ease Through Out Left To Relax As We Wished But Had The Excellent Owners Help If We Needed Anything At All They Were Approachable And Helpfull and Caring was Brilliant With My Mother Also And Reconised That Mum Was Forgetfull With Who They Were Thankyou Both Felt Very At Ease Straight Away .The Farm Has Everything You Would Need And More Clean And Fresh outside Area Amazing Lots Off Little Places To Have Alone Time . Please If Anyone Gets The Chance to Experience A Hoilday Or Short Break Jump At The Opportunity To Stay Here Thankyou Soooo Much And We Will Be Back As We all Enjoyed It So Much Keep Up The Good work Proberly The Best Place Ive Stayed In This Country Its a Credit To You Regards Paddy and Family X

We had a wonderful time staying at this property, and the layout and ground were perfect for the families staying. Gorgeous views and well kitted out, with lots of space for little ones! Communication from the owners was second to none, with lots of recommendations to share would definitely recommend!

The Elms was first class, everything was catered for, could not of asked for anything more as it was all thought of. The welcome basket was fantastic, as were the gifts and birthday banners for my sister. The views and grounds were stunning, Ali and her family made us feel so welcome. This is a truly magical place to relax unwind and be in the moment. Cant recommend it enough, we have already booked for longer next time.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful. It has stunning grounds and scenery, we spent the evenings enjoying the gardens, barbecuing and relaxing in the hot tub. The cottage was immaculately clean, lovely white bedding and towels, really comfortable beds that ensured we all slept really well. We were there with grandparents, adult children and grandchildren, everyone had an amazing time. The location is ideal, lovely walks, plenty of sight seeing and 35 minutes drive to Alton towers ! It's a place to go to all year round, in the winter I can imagine sitting in front of the log burner admiring the amazing skylines with a mulled wine ! The hosts were so welcoming and were happy to let the children visit the horses at feeding time. We cannot recommend this enough, it was a pleasure to stay there !
