Groups Will Love...

Multiple living areas mean different generations can relax separately or gather together in the large kitchen and dining room. Mountain Farm Reviews

Plenty of room for 6 adults, 3 children under 5yrs and a dog. The house is very well appointed but it is a looking a little tired in places. We had an issue with a nonworking DVD player and a bath plug that wouldn't stay closed but both of these were attended to very quickly and fixed. The kids loved the large garden and the summer house and especially enjoyed seeing the animals over the fence. The Hot Tub was a lovely touch, very clean and well maintained.

We had a fantastic fortnight at Mountain Farm. The house is lovely and very comfortable. Facilities were great. It immediately felt like a home from home for the whole family. Cooper our German Shepherd absolutely loved the big garden and the shade under the apple trees during the hot weather. Was lovely to see the animals over the back fence too. We will definitely be back again!
We enjoyed the garden area, went to see the animals over the hedge every day. Three of us enjoyed the hot tub. We did have a problem with ants and flies in the conservatory. The bottle of wine was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. We did think that we would be in walking distance of beach and coastal path, but road was too dangerous to walk down. Wifi was a bit hit and miss, but all in all had a great time
Great holiday and good support from Mandy and Steve when needed
Lovely spacious home with a brilliant dogchild proof garden. Short drive along easy roads to Broad Haven, being allowed to dog walk in the arable fields belonging to the farm was a real bonus. Would definitely book again
There was a problem with the hot tub which I messaged the owner about, the hot tub did not come on when we tried it but did work occasionally, on the Thursday someone came to clean the hot tub and got it working, it was a shame that it was not sorted sooner as my wife and kids loved it. The outside lights in the garden did not work and it meant that our black Labrador could not go out after dark. The fence at the rear of the property where there were horses and chickens could be better as a determined dog could get through or even over it in my opinion. Other that these things the house was great its lovely and spacious, kids loved the table tennis and piano, so quiet and in a great spot for getting to all of the local attractions and towns.
We stayed at Mountain Farm Cottage from July 13th to 20th, and it was another fantastic holiday experience. This was our second visit to this delightful spot, and it certainly wont be our last! Location Nestled in the heart of Pembrokeshire, Mountain Farm Cottage boasts a prime location. It offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, making it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The scenic surroundings provide a peaceful atmosphere, yet it's close enough to local attractions and amenities. Cottage The cottage itself is a charming blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. It is wellmaintained and exceptionally clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The interior is cozy and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Each room is thoughtfully decorated, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. Garden One of the highlights of Mountain Farm Cottage is its large, beautiful garden. Our children had a fantastic time exploring and playing in the expansive outdoor space, and our two dogs enjoyed the freedom to roam. The garden is wellkept, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for both kids and pets. Family and PetFriendly Traveling with three children and two dogs can be challenging, but Mountain Farm Cottage made it effortless. The cottage is incredibly family and petfriendly, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The thoughtful amenities and accommodations for pets were particularly appreciated. Overall Experience Our second stay at Mountain Farm Cottage was just as wonderful as the first. The location, the cottage, and the garden all exceeded our expectations once again. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable family getaway. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you for providing such a wonderful holiday home. Mountain Farm Cottage truly is a gem in the heart of Pembrokeshire!

A beautiful house in a lovely setting with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. Had a problem with the hot tub on the 1st night but the owners got this sorted swiftly and it didn't stop us having lots of fun. Garden is fantastic for small children and four legged friends to. Close to amenities of Haverfordwest and the beautiful beaches of broad haven, nolton haven and Newgale. Will definitely be returning.
Suzanne
The garden is a large safe area for children and dogs. We found the conservatory a lovely space and thats where we spent much of our time and as theres a dining table in there we had breakfast and dinner in there each day although it needed a little more lighting in there at dusk dark only one bulb in the middle. The biomass heating worked well and was very effective when we needed it. The facilities were pretty much accurate to description

We had a lovely week at mountain farm we have visited loads of cottages saying enclosed garden when the garden hasn't been enclosed our dogs loved it my wee girl loved the garden and hot tub the weather was brilliant will definitely book next year again thanks to the owners
Christina
We absolutely loved staying here, did not want to leave! Our dog loved the large garden. The hot tub was amazing after a long walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside. I would highly recommend a visit to the beach at Broad Haven, it was just stunning and only 5 minutes away in the car! Would definitely book here again.
Already booked for next year
Lovely big house for a family get together, not the best of weather for us, but we still made the short trip to a couple of the beaches, spent a lot of time playing table tennis when it rained or just enjoying the facilities of the house. We had a few small issues, but Phil & Mandy were on hand to sort everything.

Despite the awful weather we had a wonderful holiday at Mountain Farm. My three year old granddaughter loved that there was a room full of toys just for her.Although some of them were a bit tatty it didn't spoil her enjoyment. We enjoyed the log burner which kept us cosy in the evenings. There was a problem with the boiler which left us without hot water or heating for one day but this was quickly dealt with by the owners and the house was cosy. There is a lovely laundry room which would benefit from an airer to hang wet clothes on, or costumes after using the hot tub. Also a measuring jug and whisk would be welcome in the kitchen. The conservatory is a great dining space. We would recommend this for a family holiday. The massive bath was a brilliant surprise!
Robert
Lovely, large and warm property. The utility room, bedrooms and sitting room were super. The huge wellenclosed garden was fabulous for our dogs to run freely, although the 'neighbours' dogs came wandering across the front leaving mess on the lawns. We had a fabulous holiday, but feel that the following recommendations may help the owners make improvements to make it a top quality, 5 star holiday let. The Kitchen facilities were quite good although would suggest replacing the 3 broken tin openers with a working one, exchanging the toaster for a 4 slice one. Hob extractor needs attention. The en suite shower had a fair amount of black mould in the grouting and the heated towel rail was leaking. The huge, beautiful bath was spoiled by having a number of hairs from the last users in it not too clean. The upstairs floorboards and stairs creaked very loudly and the bannister rail felt very loose. This did cause issues waking our sleeping family members. The gymnasium was disappointing the running machine was only good for a gentle walk and the foot straps on the bike were broken, rendering it almost unusable. The games in the garage were incomplete with some damaged parts eg broken table tennis bats and dented balls. We didn't use the hot tub so cannot comment. All in all, we would love to return, but just hope that these suggestions might make it a top quality destination for others.
Large, spacious, comfortable, warm accommodation in beautiful Wales. Very quiet and peaceful location. Helpful owners. Information about places to visit was very helpful.
Thank you for a wonderful stay at Mountain Farm.
Jennifer
Beautiful large property very comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out, kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and a huge secure garden for our 2 dogs, Broad Haven beach is only a five minute drive away great for early morning dog walks. Would definitely recommend this property

Great place , great garden , loved the hot tub All the accommodation excellent. Toys well used by granddaughters, Welcome wine a plus. No plastic cups as suggested for use in the garden. No food waste bags . Shower screen in ensuite difficult to close. Look forward to using this home in the future.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Mountain Farm and would love to return, the house and garden is amazing with everything you need to hand and plenty of space, the kids had a great time in the hot tub, large garden and play room. It is in the perfect location for easy reach of multiple different beaches, we loved Marloes for body boarding, Saundersfoot was a great beach for crabbing and shops and the Castle beach is just a few minutes drive away which we loved too, also only a 35 minute drive to Tenby. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage.
Absolutely amazing cottage! House is a great size with an amazing garden. The house has everything you could need for your stay, with a bonus extra couple of rooms one with an organ & TV in it the garage is used as a games room full size table tennis & table football. If you are taking dogs or children the garden is massive and fully secure, dogs, kids cant escape. Also, a gate at the end of the garden leads onto a field with horses in. The cottage is a fiveminute drive to Broadhaven beach & 9minute drive to Tesco. Forgot to mention the hot tub in the garden which was up to temperature ready and waiting for when you get there.
Totally in love with this house . Had an amazing holiday . Host very helpful. Great base to travel the area . Idyllic garden if my dog could talk he would call it doggie heaven
Jo-ann
Lovely property, spacious and with almost all home comforts. our only gripes were v minor niggles 1 The very thin duvet covers needed extra blankets or higher tog. 2 The single bed. my small child complained all week about springs coming through on the mattress not comfy 3 needs new chopping boards the two theres look filthy yuk 4 No recycling bags were left at property we had to use our own that luckily we had in car 5 Guide mentions we could walk in your fields, but no maps or routes to say where they were. otherwise top notch thanks
We had a lovely stay with our 2 children and two dogs. The hot tub, games room and fire place was a great hit with everyone and the huge enclosed garden was lovely for the dogs! Great dog walks and close to beach. Near to food shops and even had a Tesco shop delivery with no issues. Quick response from the owners with some queries so very happy with our stay and would love to come again.
Fantastic house, location and facilities. We will be return
Awesome. Lovely place.
We had a great time at the property, plenty of space for our busy families and little ones the toy room, hot tub and horses were a particular hit! Lovely gesture of bottle of wine in fridge on arrival and logs for the fire ready to go! Do agree with other comments about property feeling a little tired in some areas and needing an end of season deep clean particularly living room carpets and cobwebs. Also some items in the property didnt work the fly zapper being one so there were a couple of flys during our stay too but nothing that impacted on our enjoyment! Also the coffee machine was a nice touch but possibly a couple of pods to get you started we must have missed this in the description so werent prepared with pods from home! Property owners were fab and quick to answer any query we hope you enjoy your trip to Dubai and bring some luck to the Wales team!
We were thrilled with Mountain Farm.
Fantastic house and garden, good communication and nice area, highly recommended thanks
Lovely place to stay not far from so many Beautiful beaches and places to visit ... Lovely place to stay not far from so many Beautiful beaches and places to visit the house it self has a big garden for the dog and a hottub to relax in loved our stay
Great place to meet up with family and relax. Very quiet with big garden for dogs to run about safely. Spent most of the week in hot tub and conservatory. Really enjoyed!!
A most enjoyable stay in a lovely house. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here.
Fantastic house with lots of facilities. A lot of flies in gym but nothing that some fly spray didnt sort out. The hot tub was fabulous and we used it everyday and the whole house was clean and well furnish with everything that we needed. Owners were very accommodating and responded to our questions and requests quickly. Would recommend to families as the garden is huge. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would go back again.
Sharron
Beautiful house and location. Very peaceful and relaxing break. Would thoroughly recommend this place. Our grand daughter and dogs loved the big garden.
Jeremy
We had a fantastic holiday at Mountain Farm. The house is beautiful and the facilities superb. Our group of eight were aged from nine to sixty and everyone just loved the place. Loads of room to do whatever you want from relaxing in the hot tub to using the gym and everything else in between. The location is excellent. Lovely and quiet but just a couple of minutes drive to Broad Haven and its gorgeous beach. Would thoroughly recommend for a special family holiday.
Douglas
Mountain Farm had a problem with flies all day long. We appreciate it is near a farm , but having stayed on farms before we have not encountered so many large flies. Quite frankly they were a nuisance, especially when preparing food or sitting relaxing. There was nothing left to prevent them. As we were leaving I mentioned this and was told we were on a farm!!
We have just returned from a very relaxing week at Mountain Farm. The house offered everything we needed as a mixed age party of seven. The second sitting room, table tennis table and hot tub were a hit with the teenagers and gave them their own space. The well equipped kitchen and useful utility room and comfy lounge were ideal and the conservatory was a great room for eating together and playing games. The garden felt secure enough for our two little dogs to have a wander around. The house is a little remote just what we wanted so a car is necessary to get around but a short drive into Haverfordwest for a good choice of supermarkets. A short drive in the opposite direction to beautiful Broad Haven beach. Some instructions on how to use the shower and heating would have been useful but the owners left their contact numbers as well as a lovely welcome gift of local eggs and potatoes so were available for guidance had we needed it. A lovely stay and much needed break in a beautiful house. Thank you.
