Near the heart of the fishing village of Baltimore, it’s ideally located for strolling to the local pubs or restaurants, and from here you can get out on the water, head to the beach or take a ferry to nearby islands. When you’re ready to relax, this beautifully designed property offers a choice of spaces in which to chill out. Head to the spacious lounge, where you can either gather in front of the wood burner and the Smart TV or play a board game at the dining table, or else take a book to the light-filled sunroom that overlooks the garden. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee at the island unit in the elegant kitchen, which is equipped with all mod cons, including a dishwasher. A utility room contains a microwave and laundry facilities, and there’s a separate shower room on the ground floor too. On the first floor, there are three stylish double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower, plus a bunk bedroom for children and a separate bathroom. For al fresco fun and games, head into the large, lawned garden. The cottage is located near the centre of Baltimore, a small village with a large natural harbour. In the oldest part of the village, about 500 metres from the property, you’ll find a castle, rows of fishermen’s cottages and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. From the pier, you can take a sea-fishing trip, a ferry to Sherkin Island and Cape Clear, or go whale and dolphin watching. For a day on the beach, Tragumna is 7 miles away, while the seawater lake at Lough Ine is just 3 miles away.
