Holly Tree Lodge Reviews

Gaynor
Great location.
Shaun
The cottage was spacious, comfortable and practical for our group of 8. Always a good supply of hot water. All linen very clean. Lovely garden and 'sun trap' patio. Excellent location.
Kelly
The property is in a great location and is an ideal size for a large, mixed generation, family group. The lovely big patio is excellent for alfresco dining and the front garden great for keeping kids and dog occupied. Close to footpaths for local beaches and Cefn Bryn. The lodge also has easy access to the south Gower road for other beaches, Mumbles and Swansea. Just a little TLC needed to bring this property up to the excellent standard we experienced during our first visit in 2022.
Irene
Lovely quirky property, full of character. Quiet location but close to access the beach footpath. Clean and well equipped, super comfy beds!
Joy
This property worked well for three generations and the outside space for children and adults is good. However there were some basic things missing from the kitchen - oven gloves and rack for grill. We found the beds to be soft and thought that they should all have mattress protectors. This is the first property weรข??ve hired that didnรข??t have a welcome pack - not even a bottle of milk! We felt the property was tired Having said that we did enjoy exploring the Gower and did wonderful walks from the property, around Oxwich Bay and Rossili.
Anthony
Spacious well appointed cottage with secure garden, very child and dog friendly, with easy access to the beaches of the Gower. Would be happy to return to the cottage again in the future.
Mickie
The cottage is delightful. It is very spacious and well equipped. The location is amazing, the beaches are great for adult early morning walks. Close to Swansea and a couple of interesting local shops if you run out of anything. Better to ensure you arrive with all you need. We were 6 adults-gfrandparents, childless older daughter and son-in-law and younger daughter and son-in-law with an almost 4 year old and a 15 month old. Plenty of space for all of us. We could be all together or seek privacy and a chance for an extra snooze. (Not the grandparents!).
Corinne
Beautiful setting and area .
Geraldine
Lovely lodge. Ideal location. Children loved it.
Catherine
Lovely spacious property in a lovely location. Really clean, well equipped, nice and warm, and ideal for families. Lovely outdoor space, would be wonderful in the summer.
Steve
The location of Holly Tree Lodge is nigh on perfect, given that you can walk to Three Cliffs Bay in 15 minutes and other fabulous beaches such as Oxwich and Rhossili are just a short drive away. The cottage had a great lounge area and beautifully laid out garden, and a patio with large dining table and benches is perfect for al fresco dining. Some building work being undertaken will create a kitchen diner which will improve the house further. A comfortable and roomy house.
Rona
Excellent cottage, we would highly recommend it for a family reunion or a couple of families staying together. The layout of the cottage works really well, the beds are super comfortable and WiFi is good (as one of our party needed to work while there). There are amazing coastal walks on the doorstep. We loved the log fire after a wet and windy walk and we were cosy despite December temperatures. We hope to return in the future.
