Hyford Wood Reviews

Emily
Hyford Wood is a lovely place with top-notch facilities. The outdoor space, especially the hot tub, is perfect for relaxing after a day out. Inside, it's just as impressiveand having TVs in all the bedrooms really suited us since our kids prefer their own space now. The garden is completely secure, which was great. It's a short stroll into Bideford and only a quick drive to beaches like Westward Ho and Clovelly. Loads of water sports and walking spots nearby. We'd definitely stay again!
Alexandra
The house was really well thought out, with a lovely layout and cosy furnishings. The hot tub for eight was a proper highlightand the barbecue area was perfect for evenings. Yaz was super helpful, checking in and offering support. Overall, a great stay!
Harper
We had a really lovely stay at this gorgeous place. It's super modern, cleanand feels really luxurious. The hosts were so friendly and thoughtful, with little touches that made us feel right at home. Loved the multiple spots to relax in the sunand the hot tub was such a treat to unwind in after a long day!
Rachel
We stayed at Hyford Wood for a weekend with friends and loved it! The house was stunning, really well-equippedand the walk into town was lovely-although a bit uphill on the way back. Westward Ho's beaches are gorgeous and just a short drive away. Definitely rebooking!
Lucy
We really enjoyed our stay! The house is spacious and well-stocked, great for a bigger family. The big windows and comfy recliners made it feel welcoming. The kitchen was lovely to cook inand the welcome hamper was a nice touch. Sadly, we couldn't use the hot tub because the cushions got soaked and the chemicals were too strong. Also, a few marks on the walls and some cracks around the doorframes were noticeable, but nothing major. Just a heads-up for anyone with mobility issues-there's no upstairs toilet, so keep that in mind!
Freya Collins
We had an amazing New Year's Eve here! The open-plan kitchen, diningand lounge made it perfect for our group. The cooking gear was top-notch, which really helped when preparing a big meal. The Christmas decorations added a lovely festive vibe. We all absolutely loved the hot tub! The owners were super friendly and welcoming. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return sometime soon. Definitely recommend!
Jamie
Really enjoyed our stay, the hosts were super friendly and helpful throughout.
Emma

James
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely house! It's really well-equipped and offers more than you'd expect. Being tucked away means it's so peaceful, yet everything's just a short drive away. We loved the open-plan top floor - perfect for staying connected while having space. The hamper was a lovely touch, with wine, chocolatesand snacks to enjoy. And the hot tub? Absolutely brilliant for relaxing after a busy day. Thanks so much from all of us, we'd definitely return!
Oliver
We genuinely had a fantastic time! The house was beautifully decorated and felt really cosy, with a peaceful spot away from it all. The hot tub was definitely one of the best we've triedand we enjoyed evenings grilling on the BBQ and sitting around the fire pit. The owners, James and Yaz, live right next door and couldn't have been more helpful-they checked in with us but weren't intrusive. Thanks a lot for making our holiday so special; everyone from the kids to the grandparents had a brilliant time!
