Lilac House Reviews

Alie
Very comfortable house in great location and perfect for a family get-together.
Alyson
This property made the holiday. Great location close to the sea, the village and the Gower beauty spots but the house was a great place to come back to. Well equipped, lots of space, inside and outside on the terrace and garden. Suited us perfectly.
Charlotte
Lilac House is a beautiful period property in a great coastal location. The decor and furniture are very tasteful and high quality. The rooms are a good size and the property has good proportions. It was very clean on arrival and well equipped. The garden and outdoor dining and barbecue areas are fantastic in warm weather and well maintained. Our children loved the space to play and our dog was very happy there. The walk to the beach is short and pleasant and Port Eynon Beach is nice and sandy with facilities and safe for children. The Ship Inn is a great village pub with a fresh fish counter selling locally caught fish. This is one of the best holiday lets I've stayed at. Thank you very much.
Susan
3 generations loved our stay at the Lilac House,it's big enough, well equipped, large walk in shower. It's a stroll across the fields to the beautiful beach (probably the most perfect beach for young children) and even in the summer holidays, not crowded, but has shops, toilets etc. There are not a lot of attractions as such but beautiful walks and views. The Gower has all the charm of Cornwall without the crowds, we are already discussing our return.
Tara
I loved staying here for the week with my family of 8, it was very welcoming and homely, lots of room for us all and the dog loved the big garden. A very short walk to the beaches, chippy and pub. The location was spot on, quiet, secluded, no light pollution at night for star gazing. I will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful Christmas at Lilac house. The bedrooms were comfy and spacious and the reception rooms were very cosy. There was everything we needed for a home from home stay and the lovely garden was an extra treat for the children to explore. We enjoyed numerous walks down to the beach and the pub despite it being foggy all week and managed to fit in a lovely walk on Rhossili beach too.
Patricia
Very well well equipped and lovely peaceful location.
Cynthia
Lilac House is a clean, comfortable and well equipped holiday home situated in a lovely location with easy access to the beach and coastal path. It was an ideal place for our 3 generation family vacation and we enjoyed our stay very much. We were impressed by the provision of many basic provisions, such as dishwasher tablets and washing machine capsules, as well as some charcoal for the bbq being available. A welcome gift of local and Welsh produce was a nice touch â?? thank you.
