Fantastic accommodation! I recently stayed at Haul A Gwynt for a Christmas family holiday spanning three generations and we had the most amazing time. We all fell in love with Criccieth, even though it rained every day! Waking up to the sight and sound of the sea was delightful, and the property offered every comfort and more. Beautifully decorated throughout and very well equipped. The attention to detail and thoughtful added touches throughout the property really made it feel like home from home. We didn't want to leave! Our hosts were delightful and on hand immediately to help with any questions or queries we had. Thank you. We will definitely return!

Absolutely beyond stunning, everything you could possibly want is included. The space and freedom is exemplary. Then hosts were so attentive even when they were on holiday! the accommodation was spotless. Spectacular views and accommodation. The accommodation stands proud on the side of the hill which stands in pure beauty very classy. Perfect location as a base. Perfect for3 generations. Plenty of room. Perfect as a base. We used Harlech beach a lot which was lovely and Sandy. We went to bron Effion for dinner which was beautiful Thank you so much and we look forward to returning.

Haul A Gwynt is a stand out house in a stunning location. All rooms are well proportioned and all the four bedrooms have sea views. The kitchendining room was light and bright with underfloor heating and well equipped. Criccieth is a jewel of a town. Good restaurantscafes all walkable from the house. If you dont want drive whilst on holiday this is the house for you. The owner was proactive and answered any queries promptly.

The property has been thoughtfully refurbished to a high standard and benefits from panoramic views of the surrounding hills to the east, beach and castle. Our party comprising 7 adults all had a great time. If we were revisiting the area I would have no hesitation rebooking and recommending Haul A Gwynt to other guests.

Haul A Gwynt is an extraordinary house in a delightful setting. Inside, the decor is so stylish and charming. We spent a week there as a family whose ages span 74 years. Everyone was suitably impressed as they arrived and saw the stunning property. The house is very spacious and enjoys a large outdoor space with a much loved hot tub. The views were marvelled at the whole time we were there. We all had a holiday to remember and have no hesitation in recommending this unique property.

A wonderful house with absolutely sensational views. Very clean, well appointed and spacious rooms. A lovely, short, seafront walk into the centre of Criccieth. Would highly recommend.

Three generations of our family had a brilliant time at this property and, due to a recent operation, one member was confined to the property all week and still had a wonderful holiday because the facilities were so good. Access to the beach is great, views are stunning, accessibility to other places of interest is good.

Everything fantastic, stayed in many places and this was right up there with the best. Panoramic views with the added bonus of the hot tub that was enjoyed by all . Eight adults and a baby and still plenty of space . Jan was extremely helpful sharing loads of useful information and very responsive. Would definitely love to visit again.

We book many cottages each year in the UK and have been to Criccieth 14 times. 11 of those in the same property and this was our first time to Haul a Gwynt . We have now found our forever Criccieth home. Personal touches, excellent standard of accomodation, very high spec and well looked after. The host Jan & Julian are without a doubt the best we have experienced and were at the end of the phone if we needed anything, which we didnt because everything was well cared for. . The views are outstanding. Even on a very stormy day Criccieth was beautiful to look at with a roaring fire, views to die for and a lovely glass of red of wine. One last thing, you dont need to take anything with you! I have never stayed anywhere with so much crockery, glasses, baking, pots pans ..... They had everything! This is fantastic for multi generational families as there is so much space. Great for a group of friends keeping it nice and 'classy' and then whilst a large property I'd be inclined to just go with my husband because its just that beautiful. We have rebooked for 2026 and are eager to confirm our 2027 holiday. Don't hesitate in booking here, its an investment into creating magical memories and experiences.

A fantastic property with every amenity you could possibly need. The standard of the property was first class, and we found Jan very helpful in making our stay a great success. Views spectacular and property close to beach and shops. We look forward to hopefully returning.

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful coastal holiday home. Spotlessly clean and it had everything we could have wished for and more. Four great sized rooms and super comfy beds. The views are something to behold and seeing the castle lit up at night from the hot tub was amazing. Sunsets from the patio while enjoying a drink on the blue bench looking out to the sea. We can't recommend this place highly enough to anyone thinking of staying here. Also a great location for exploring North Wales.

What a fantastic place for a holiday. We had been very much looking forward to our stay in Haul A Gwent, especially after reading all the excellent reviews.. well it lived up to everything that was written. We booked it for a friends 60th birthday celebration, for 2 couples, but easily could have accommodated 8 adults in 4 very large bedrooms, with equally large twin or double beds with 5hotel quality bedding, and views to die for from all! Every room in the house was equally well furnished, even with 2 tvs with any channel you could wish for in the Lounge and kitchen. The hot tub was a luxury at the end of a day, which our birthday girl enjoyed immensely! Would we return yes without a doubt!

Whow , property was absolutely outstanding . The property was so clean and everything you need from home to home to make your break perfect . The hot tub was lovely and the view of the castle made our holiday that extra special. We were gifted a lovely little welcome gift of milk eggs wine chocolate etc which was so kind of the host to do so . The host before hand gave us some nice tips on where to eat and places to visit and completely on hand if we needed any advice . I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for that bit of luxury by the sea. We will certainly be returning in future . Many thanks again for a fantastic break.

What can I say just wow, wow, wow! We stayed at this beautiful place over Christmas with my family, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The property itself was not only stunning but also spotless, with every detail carefully considered. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The living spaces were cozy and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect setting for our family gatherings. You can truly tell that this home was designed and maintained with so much love and care. Every little touch from the thoughtful decor to the highquality furnishings made our stay feel extra special. The host was absolutely wonderful. Communication started well in advance, and they were always incredibly responsive and helpful. They provided fantastic recommendations, which added even more to our experience. Its rare to find a property that exceeds expectations in every way, but this property did exactly that. We couldnt have asked for a better Christmas getaway, and weve already started planning our next visit. If youre considering booking this place dont hesitate. Its a true gem, and youll leave with memories to cherish forever!

We had a wonderful week away in beautiful North Wales. Having this holiday property to come home every evening made it all the more perfect. Haul A Gwynt was a real home from home, we felt so comfortable and relaxed there. The hot tub is a wonderful bonus too. We also loved the incredible views across to the castle and out to sea. The property is located a short walk away from Criccieth where we enjoyed the various shops, cafes restaurants and pubs.

Such a stunning, idyllic house with breath taking views from every angle! We fell in love with this place from the moment we pulled on the driveway! Ample space inside and outside. The owners have been very thoughtful and provided everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and didn't want to leave! We had the best nights sleep in the most comfortable beds. The local restaurants and cafes are only a short walking distance and all were very good, especially Dylan's! Jan, the owner, was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had during our stay. Thank you Jan x It was a pleasure to meet you at the end of our stay. We would love to come back in the future !

What more can I add about how good this house is but superb. Plenty of room outside, upstairs and down for six adults and a small humanoid. Excellent facilities features with the hot tub well used and now a must for future holidays. Great views from the verandah and balconies The photographs are good but you have to be there to appreciate how good. The only complaint was they we were not staying longer!

One of the best houses we have stayed in, the house was stunning and the views were perfect. Jan and Julian have presented the perfect getaway property in beautiful Criccieth. We had 6 adults and a 2 year old staying and there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We had the opportunity to use the hot tub which was perfect in the sun with a glass of fizz. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds extremely comfortable, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property was 5 minutes from the beach, and Dillon's restaurant. The town centre is a 10 minute walk with local shops and places to eat. We will definitely return to Haul A Gwynt in the future.

Haul A Gwynt is a beautiful house in a beautiful location with stunning views. The house is extremely comfortable and provided everything we needed. The outside veranda and deck area, with hot tub, enabled us to enjoy the views of Criccieth and the sunshine.

We had a wonderful week staying at Haul A Gwynt. The property was perfect and the facilities were home from home. The owners are very attentive and cater to your every need. The area is great. 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute to the centre where the shops and cafes are. Lovely restaurant. Highly recommend.

Amazing We've stayed in many self catering accommodations over the years, none like this. Comfortable well equipped and pristine. The hosts were informative, welcoming and generous. They were imminently contactable, but we had no need because everything was already considered and catered for. Irrespective of the labile weather in North Wales, you are guaranteed a great holiday at Haul A Gwynt.

We really cant recommend this lovely place highly enough! Its absolutely beautiful with fabulous fixtures and fittings throughout and everything you could possibly need. The views are to die for and its a pleasure to simply sit and take them in in such lovely surroundings. Criccieth is very pleasant, we walked up to the castle, ate out a couple of times and we also visited Portmeirion which was only a short drive away. A member of our party had to work for a couple of days while we were there which he managed with ease WiFi was fast and reliable. Weve arrived home feeling so refreshed and relaxed and determined to visit again. Thank you so much owners Jan & Julian what a special place you have created! What a fantastic stay we had at Haul A Gwynt, we were very sad to leave and it seems such a distant memory already. The property is absolutely beautiful and exceptionally well appointed in all areas. It literally is like home away from home. The beds, bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchen, all areas, have such high quality, it was an absolute joy to spend the week here with want of nothing except perhaps some sunshine!. The views are stunning and it was breathtaking to watch the waves during the storm and see what a difference some hours made in the weather. The hot tub was a welcome treat and made the relaxing even more enjoyable, especially after trips out in the wet. Our host Jan was amazing, very thoughtful and communicative and it was a relief to know that she was on hand should there be an issue, but there was not. Jan & Julian have put a lot of thought and effort and from the sounds of it blood, sweat and tears too into making this property truly outstanding. The location is also fabulous, particularly if you love trains, beaches and sea. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and we have already recommended this to all our friends and hope to organise another visit in the future. This property really is one of the special ones and if you get the opportunity to stay, it really is a must! Thank you Jan & Julian for making this a holiday to remember.

Absolutely stunning property, in a fantastic location. The refurb they have achieved with this house is outstanding, and it shows even more so once you're there. All the fittings and furnishings are really tasteful and of a high standard. You can tell the work that has gone into refurbishing this old house into what you see today, there's been no expense spared in the fit and finish, and they have turned this place into a real gem of a property to stay at Criccieth. Jan the owner was great with communication just before our stay, wishing us a safe trip, and sending us lots of info on places to eatvisit which was extremely helpful. And also on arrival, and leaving the property, she was in touch via text to make sure we were happy with everything. It was great assurance knowing she was available should we have any issues, so we could speak directly with her, but thankfully, we didn't need a thing. There were no issues during our entire stay at the house. We had fresh milk and eggs, a bottle of bubbly, Welsh cakes etc which were a nice touch on our arrival. The house was immaculate, as were the grounds outside. You'll get used to the little bunnies roaming around the garden too! Which was a nice surprise! New TV's with sky including sports and strong solid WiFi around 50mbps, off street parking on the drive were all very welcome amenities too. We had sun and rain with 5060mph winds during our 1 week stay, but whatever the weather you will have a fantastic time at this property. The views from the balcony at any time of daynight are outstanding. The beds and sofa's were really comfortable. Plenty of dishes, glasses etc for cooking. And the hot tub quickly became part of our daily routine! The only real problem I had with this house was leaving it at the end of our stay! Just home from a weeks stay at this wonderful property. Where to beginthe house is fabulous, beautifully furnished, with a wonderful New England style wrap around deck and balcony overlooking the sea that we used every day thanks to the glorious weather we had all week. Two of the bedrooms have their own balconies, and given the warm weather, we kept the doors open and drifted to sleep to the sound of the sea. Cricceith is ideally located for exploring Snowdonia, Anglessey, Conwy and much more, and the biggest surprise for us were the beaches along the west Wales coastline Harlech, with views rivalling some of those that youd see along the Great Sur in California. Haul A Gwynt was the perfect place for our family holiday.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A stunning, luxurious house in a beautiful location very close to the beach and the pretty town. The house, with gorgeous big bedrooms, spacious and comfortable lounge and kitchen, clean and modern bathrooms, is really well equipped with everything you could need and more!. The hot tub and sun deck were the icing on the cake! The owners thought of everything to make our stay special even down to suggestions for restaurants which were all fabulous. We had an amazing holiday and this was by far the best accommodation weve ever stayed in in the UK
