Had a lovely relaxing break at Cwmwr. The cottage is located on a working farm and was well equipped. The owner Sarah was very helpful at providing information about local places to visit and eat. The hot tub and games room were a great addition to have. There is lots of wildlife on your doorstep including red kites and phesants, as well as the surrounding farm animals. The location is so peaceful. There are plenty of places to visit within a short drive of cottage. Already planning another visit to the cottage in the future.

Absolutely perfect for our family, the games room and hot tub both big hits. It was so relaxing and just what we needed to recharge. Comfortable and had everything you needed.

We visited Oswestry which was a lovely town, walked some of the hills around the property and just loved the opportunity to be together to catch up with a bonus of the hot tub! This stunning property, Cwmur, is very tastefully decorated and wellfurnished. Almost every window, looksout onto the beautiful Hills, lush Forests and green fields. The antics of the sheep amused us and the views of the Red Kites swooping over the Farmland were great. We enjoyed the Hot Tub which was meticulously clean. We had a wonderfully relaxing time. Our host Sarah was lovely and very helpful. She suggested some worthy places to visit, the nearby spectacular Lake Vyrnwy being one. We'll definitely be returning!

A lovely, comfortable and spacious cottage easily able to accommodate 6 adults and 2 children and having all the amenities you would need for a relaxing holiday. All of the rooms bedrooms, living, dinning and bathrooms were very clean and the beds comfy to sleep on. The underfloor heating was a treat and made the cool evenings real cosy. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cutlery. Outside the hot tub was a real treat for the evenings and the games room an added bonus. The scenery breathtaking!

We had an amazing stay here! ! The beds were super comfy, the house was clean and had everything we needed. The hottub and games room were an added bonus for us, they made the stay more fun and enjoyable. A fantastic week staying at Cwmwr. A traditional looking, but modern farmhousecottage with every facility you could possibly need . We were two families totalling 6 people and had loads of space . Games room and hot tub were a hit with the 2 lads 1516 . Small village shop and pub about 1 mile away and plenty of outdoor activities in the local area.As described, there is a working farm next door and this added to the experience for us, we even had some pet lambs join us in the garden one day! Overall a great place to stay and we would certainly recommend it!

Beautiful house with beautiful views out of every window. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Games room is a great addition. Be aware that the road leading to the house is very narrow. We forgot to mention that the downstairs shower fab to have an extra bathroom downstairs wouldn't turn down and was too hot to use! Owner very friendly.

An amazing house in beautiful surroundings. It was such a shame to do 'day trips' as we also loved being at the cottage using the hot tub and games room. We found a happy medium though. We found the house spacious and having 3 bathrooms was a game changer. There's plenty to do all within a decent car ride. So I would definitely recommend this cottage!! Sarah was also at hand if we had any questions, an excellent host! 10 out of 10!

Had a lovely stay at Cwmwr last weekend. The pictures don't do this house justice. It's amazing with everything you could need to accommodate several guests. The views from every window were stunning and the baby lambs just over the fence were so lovely to see. I would definitely recommend Cwmwr as a perfect, peaceful and comfortable property.

Fantastic property and owners. Sarah had thought of everything, every kitchen utensil you need is provided, beds and pillows are comfortable, she is super responsive to messages and queries and really helpful if needed. The house is a great size, the kitchen appliances are high spec and the fridge and freezer were more than ample in size. Underfloor heating works well so always cozy and warm. Games room was a hit also heated and also additional board games were provided. WiFi is even good enough for a play station so the boys were happy. Great location. Would highly recommended and will return .

The property was stunning and had everything that we needed, the location was great and we really enjoyed visiting the lake and going on a bike ride round it. The beds were really comfy and the property was nice and clean. Only downfall was the showers they were scorching hot and wouldnt turn down.

Sarah is most definitely a super host. She couldnt do enough for us and she was on hand anytime we needed her. We had a little issue with plumbing and her husband and Sarah sorted it with in a few hours. The house is amazing and we loved it for Christmas. It was big enough for us all and we never felt on top of each other. The games rooms is great fun and hot tub as well with the views its amazing. This was a wonderful Christmas for us to be with all the family and the home and was beautiful decorated as well on our arrival. This is definitely one of the beautiful holiday homes we have stayed in and we will be back. Thank you to Sarah and her family. When we arrived we were so pleased and excited with the property. The space and facilities were amazing and catered for all our family's needs. The space and views outside were beautiful. The hot tub was the selling point for our family. We all liked relaxing in there. Sarah the property ownermanager communicated with me before, during and after our stay. We absolutely loved our stay at Cwmwr, the surroundings were breathtaking and the house was brilliant. When we booked it we thought we probably wouldnt use the hot tub or the games room that much but we spent a lot of our holiday using them and they made it all the more special. There was everything we could need in the kitchen and there were games in the lounge cupboard, there was nothing our host could have done better. An amazing 25 minute walk down to the village with a great shop and a brilliant pub which did fantastic evening meals and a stroll back in the sunshine to walk it off. Situated perfectly for Lake Bala, Lake Vyrnwy and Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, lots of beautiful walks. Highly recommend Little India in LlanrhaeadrymMochnant for a delicious authentic curry. Just one word for this holiday AMAZING.

What an absolutely beautiful place this is! As a group of friends who regularly enjoy cottage breaks in Wales we were so impressed with Sarah and Eifions home from home. The house is extremely spacious, tastefully furnished and has a relaxing, comfortable feel throughout. Its well equipped, clean and has tons of natural light. The surrounding countryside is nothing short of stunning and there is so much outside space to enjoy within the grounds of the house and far beyond. We had lots of fun playing pool in the games room and relaxing in the well positioned hot tub. Sarah is a lovely, friendly host who made us feel very welcome thank you! We were x2 families getting together as we do annually both families having x1 child aged 11 & 13ys . I had clear communication from the owner about key pick up. We arrived to find a lovely welcome pack of biscuits milk nice touch. The house is beautiful.. new build. Quality furnishings and fabulous facilities. Great games room which the kids made lots of use of. Hot tub was great too. We had the added luxury of newborn lambs in the fields. The weekend was fabulous! Would definitely book again.. and maybe will!

We had a lovely stay at this property. Wonderful views all around. Cosy, clean and spacious. We all thoroughly enjoyed the private hot tub and games room, great for the kids! Having access to Disney plus, Netflix and Amazon, amongst other channels, was great too for our relaxing movie nights in together.
