For avid walkers, the Exe Estuary Trail leads to Exmouth via Cockwood, where you can enjoy harborside pubs, while the famous South West Coast Path passes through Dawlish. Nearby attractions include Powderham Castle (6.5 miles), the vibrant city of Exeter (15 miles), and the charming old port of Topsham (13.5 miles). Regular trains follow this scenic route, considered one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the UK. Additionally, boat enthusiasts can take a ferry from nearby Starcross (5 miles) to Exmouth.
