The large sitting room with a wood burning stove, TV and enough comfortable seating for all the family has patio doors which lead to the decking area and flood the room with natural light. The kitchen diner is very roomy and has all the equipment you could ask for with stylish oak features throughout. Exposed wooden beams add a sense of charm to Carthorse Cottage. To make the cottage even more impressive there is a indoor heated swimming pool and games room, with a pool table.

The ground floor is completed by a wet room and a cosy double bedroom to make Carthorse Cottage suitable for limited mobility guests. The first floor holds four well-presented bedrooms, all with TV/DVDs. Two double rooms with en-suite facilities, two twin rooms and family shower rooms to make it the perfect place for groups to come and stay.Carthorse Cottage is situated on the owner's 105 acre cattle and sheep farm which has a wide variety of habitats and wildlife including an area of Special Scientific Interest. Guests are encouraged to explore the farm and experience the magnificent views of Dartmoor. This cottage is set in a quiet, secluded area outside the village of Luton, that boasts fantastic scenery and the family friendly village pub the Elizabethan Inn which won Taste of the West gold award 2016 and has its own Gelato ice cream maker. Nearby are the sandy beaches of Teignmouth and Shaldon, and Dawlish Warren with its sand dunes and Nature & Wildlife Reserve. The Dartmoor National Park, Newton Abbot, Torbay and Exeter are all within 15 miles and offer different types of visits and attractions.
